How can I farm fossils in Hoenn?

hIs there an easier and more efficient way to farm fossils in Hoenn? If so, can you give me the route? Thanks 😄

Pokemon who appear from smashing Rocks with Rock Smash have a chance of holding the fossils I believe

You need to smash the rocks and steal fossil from the pokemon spawned.

Specifically speaking, the place you can farm fossils is route 114 outside of the metro falls or route 114 the part near metro falls. You can also go into metro falls and out to see if rocks respawn.

Better place is the rock smash spot above Mauvile. You had a house to keep reseting the place and respawning rocks. If ran out of PP of Thief/Covet, go to trainer hill on right and heal on Nurse Joy right there. You can keep farming for hours.
