Android Client Tampering Ban - Followed Instructions but still banned

Just wanted to make a post here as I have on PokeMMO reddit in hopes of being able to speak to a staff member. I followed all instructions given when you get the pop up message playing on android by doing the following:

  • Read both the articles about client tampering and how to attempt to resolve it
  • When I followed those steps and got the message again I raised a support ticket and followed the instructions given by the staff member
  • After doing that my account was banned with response to the ticket
  • Raised a new appeal ticket asking for further clarification and provide support ticket number and requested screenshot from that support ticket (please refer to attachment)
  • Appeal ban got rejected saying:
    • The usage of third-party automation tools, commonly referred to as bots, macros, or scripts, is a breach of the Terms of Service that you agreed to when you created your account. Even if you regret your actions now, a violation has still occurred and it comes with consequences. "

 

Please refer to my full breakdown on the reddit post but I honestly have no idea what caused the detection on my phone and attempted to work with staff to resolve it as they have stated in post/comments

 

As mentioned in the reddit post I understand that staff can't discuss what caused the ban to stop cheats/bots from evolving or give in-depth replies with the limited bandwidth

 

This is post is not to attack the staff or witch hunt but to add this to the discussion around the current android ban wave, hopefully help another player that is nervous about playing on android and hopefully get my account back. If that won't be the case I am happy to start fresh on a new account (ticket said that this is okay) and will only play on PC where I have had no issues
