  1. Maybe if at least one person on your team publicly addressed the issue with even the slightest bit of professionalism I wouldn't keep wasting my time with the support system or these forums. Requiring your players to disable features that shipped on their devices ain't it either and the high-and-mighty attitudes from people like you are destroying the faith of legitimate players. For example, you implying that Motorola "incorrectly coded" their own software instead of simply acknowledging that your cheat detection system sucks. Go take a look on the PokeMMO Reddit sub if you don't want to take my word for it.
  2. Well, I just did exactly what you said and your entire response before closing the ticket was "we are aware, thank you." How is this helpful in any way? Are you going to do anything to fix the false positives or are you just going to make people keep getting banned over ridiculous things like this?
  3. That was probably me. I was already thinking about taking a break for a few weeks while they sort this out, but wanted to see if they fixed this specific app/feature yet. If I have to disable a feature that came built-in on my phone, I don't think it's worth playing this game. I don't even use the feature, but it's bad on principle to expect that.
  4. For me, it was the "Swipe to Split" app that came built in on my Motorola
  5. The ticket was closed without any further explanation, so what exactly was I supposed to do next? Open another ticket with the same screenshot? You're blanket banning Android users for apps and features that come stock on their phones. That's not okay and we shouldn't have to disable them just because your cheat detection isn't working correctly. Also, I like how you only quoted one sentence of my ticket and glossed over everything else that criticized your handling of communication. --- Edit to add the ticket he quoted: Y'all need to stop trying to brush this under the rug on the forums and pretending like everyone on Android is using some kind of cheat software. It's incredibly obvious by the number of posts that this many people are not cheating or using exploits. I have installed literally nothing extra on my Android that is even remotely related to PokeMMO and the only in-game settings I've changed have been the controls. If your anti-cheat bot is marking so many unrelated apps and settings as false positives, get it together and fix the bot.
  6. Again, as I said in my first reply in this post, it's more about the devs/mods handling of the problem and their communication than their work. When you're getting multiple posts about the same issue each day, it should be clear that continuing to shut down discussion with the same "copy, paste, lock the post" response isn't cutting it. Edit: Same thing to your reply, Seth. Nobody is expecting it to be 100% from the start, but expecting the staff to be receptive to feedback instead of sweeping it under the rug shouldn't be a "delusional" stance.
  7. They didn't resolve it, though. Like I said in my post, they just reposted the same message they keep dropping in the forums when they lock posts about it. When you follow that link, it tells you to "Turn off or uninstall any autoclickers, macroing software, or ad skippers you're using." The built-in app that caused the false positive is not any of those and frankly I shouldn't have to disable one of my phones built-in features like that just to play this game. On top of that, I certainly didn't appreciate having to come to this forum for help only to see users and mods (not you, but others) insinuating that I and everyone else were just lying about using cheats because one guy yesterday admitted to lying.
  8. My phone has a built-in "swipe to split" app that was apparently causing a false positive. Haven't even used the feature in over a year, but I guess having it enabled was enough to trigger this new tAmPeRiNg detection that is supposedly "working as intended." The bigger issue here is the communication from the developers and how they're handling this obviously faulty auto-detection system. They didn't communicate this clearly before handing out ban warnings, they're blatantly ignoring feedback from the users, they're shutting down discussion of it by locking posts that bring it up, and they just keep reposting the same tone deaf message every time.
  9. Should I also not trust myself? Because I'm 100% sure I didn't install anything remotely related to PokeMMO that would be causing it to think I'm using macros or auto-clickers. Unless using a Razer Kishi as a controller is doing it.
  10. So was I until the latest update. Whatever is causing all these false positives, it's something completely unrelated to PokeMMO.
  11. Before the typical mod response gets posted yet again, I do not have any kind of macro/bot software installed whatsoever. I haven't even changed any in-game settings other than controls, nor installed any mods. Played for a month or two before the latest update without issue. I'm playing with a Razer Kishi; could it be possible the client thinks this is some kind of macro thing?
  12. How many posts and reports is it going to take for the mods to acknowledge that there is a problem with the latest update that's affecting Android users? Hundreds? Thousands?
  13. The mods are just going to keep locking these posts and blaming us for "cheating," even though it's painfully obvious it's a problem with the update.
