Shiny Bonus for LNY

The strings file has 2 strings in it pertaining to shiny bonus what are the chances they actually implement it?

 

The strings in question:

Sure would like to know if they plan on actually implementing this....

I have no interest in shinies, but I feel like if they added a recurring shiny boost during events it would devalue shinies even more.

Maybe atleast add a roaming legendary encounter % boost during events where no shiny bonus is going to be there then.

I have been good this years without shiny boost, not something i would ask to implement or ask to please dont implement, interesting u found this in strings tysm!, Sure the dev team will manage this well accordingly

I am starting to think you're right.

Don't get me wrong, no matter the reason it was implemented for, the shiny boost was really nice and made it feel like a Christmas-like feature. Gifts for everyone, more shiny odds to get their fav shinies. But it was what it was, or it felt like it at the very least.
