NaitDawg
What's the most dreaded thing that comes along with new updates? The queue. It's just a big bore. Sometimes we sit for 45 minutes, doing absolutely nothing. Im proposing a game based of off snake, using a weedle, to serve as a fun minigame while we wait for the queue to end. It's incredibly easy to make a snake game, and it would probably please Gilgamesh too. The minigame could also be easily salvaged and put into the game corner. Dannnno
I would stop donating so I could play this. So I guess it won't happen Jarrod0306 1 Link to comment
Sakura
I like it. Personally, I've never needed to wait in a queue to get in the game, since my timezone doesn't let me get online at the times when most people are on, but I can imagine how boring it would be just sitting there doing nothing, this would help pass the time a bit Link to comment
Archinix
What if the queue end and you are in a middle of a game, does it save for later or do you just die? Link to comment
NaitDawg
I would assume a button would appear that you could click, if you wanted to connect to the server. When you click the server connect button, you do not save your "Weedle Minigame" progress. It's simply there to pass the time. Link to comment
Rigamorty
i feel like ekans would be much more fitting. Link to comment
Gaxeus
This is an interesting idea. I'm sure this would keep people entertained for a short while at least. NaitDawg 1 Link to comment

Dannnno
It occurs to me that afk disconnects during the queue would also be prevented by this. Link to comment
Jarrod0306
I would stop donating so I could play this. Lol, I instantly thought the same thing. This idea is genius. Adding to the Game Corner is a must. Link to comment
Authentica
It occurs to me that afk disconnects during the queue would also be prevented by this. So true. This would keep the people waiting busy, and the queue would be over before they knew it. Link to comment
ShinyChansey
It occurs to me that afk disconnects during the queue would also be prevented by this. Desu said that was fixed in today's changelog. I still like the idea. Link to comment
skazord
At least you'd play more while in queue than actually ingame. Link to comment
NaitDawg
"Damn, no queue today?" I'll also be creating a version of this for the game corner suggestion thread. Link to comment
Techidance
Inb4somedumbkidfiguresouthowtomacroplaythisgamebeforehegoestowork/whatever. But seriously, this is a good idea ;P I'm not sure if this game would be implemented in the game corner for prizes... Because balance for work/winnings would have to be well-thought out to make sure it's even and one method isn't instantly easier/better. Leading the other game to be ignored or favored. etc. Link to comment
kloneman
Why not just watch a video or something while you wait, or play snake on the internet? Link to comment
XelaKebert
Why not just watch a video or something while you wait, or play snake on the internet? Because Weedle or Caterpie would be more fun. CharlesK 1 Link to comment
kloneman
Because Weedle or Caterpie would be more fun. It would just be the same game with a different graphical character in place of the snake, how can it possibly increase the excitement? Link to comment
NaitDawg
It would just be the same game with a different graphical character in place of the snake, how can it possibly increase the excitement? Do you have the HG/SS rom in your Pokemmo folder? Link to comment
kloneman
Do you have the HG/SS rom in your Pokemmo folder? Yes I do, but I don't know what that's got to do with a snake game. Link to comment
NaitDawg
Yes I do, but I don't know what that's got to do with a snake game. So, you would agree that an arbitrary modification or improvement upon a games' graphics would improve it? Link to comment
kloneman
So, you would agree that an arbitrary modification or improvement upon a games' graphics would improve it? Well of course it would, but that's not the point. The snake game would not add anything useful, therefore it is a total waste of time, it will probably be an even bigger waste of time in a couple of weeks time because the queue's would of gone down a great deal (I'm talking from past experience, they might go up even further for all I know). Anyway are you trying to say people actually sit and stare at the numbers going down while they are waiting? Why not just open up the internet and do something slightly more enthralling?
