With my OT breeders I have set up an eevee breed in a day, and then breed 8 comp eevees in a few hours.  When done right, it's really not hard at all, and in retrospect of an mmo does not take much time.  Just have patience, the breeding system is actually still very easy to work with, the non-OT just makes things easier.

the system in itself is perfectly fine imo, the steps it takes to hatch is whats wrong, but that should be fixed soon anyways.

So there isn't a single competitive Umbreon in this game, perhaps like one or two competitive Jolteons and maybe, very maybe one Espeon. Kewl story bro.

When was breeding ever a mechanic to instantly get perfect pokemon? Heck, if breeding would've been so perfect in the games why would there ever been a need to create Pokesav?

 

We've played PokeMMO without 'perfect' pokemon for a long time. Now with breeding we can gain pokemon that easily live up to the standards we had before breeding with reasonable speed. I don't see what's wrong with it. If you had pokemon that were considered good before the patch you can use those to breed pokemon that are just as good at an ok rate.

 

I'm with Winter here. The mechanic is fine, just please reduce the steps needed to hatch since Flame Body isn't working yet.

The only flaw to the system right now is the hatching method without a form of reducing it. Literally that is the only flaw to the way they implemented breeding to me. Non-OT is just to play into the whole concept of Pokemon being about interaction with other people, its an MMO after all. Its supposed to promote community growth.

 

What we need is an Incubator in Pokecenters that lessen the steps by 1/4th or even 1/3rd while you go out and do other things, perhaps holding only 3 eggs at one time. Also some form of hold item that can only go on Eggs that reduces times would be good too. inb4 Breed Brace

Ok, and how would you feel if I told you that you could just use your alt account for that and you would have spent exactly same amont of time but got twice as much comp eevees? (or 1.5x as much, doesn't matter - just bigger amount of success in same amount of time)

hes saying that people who say breeding is easy likely are going into it with better pokemon (stock) than other people

Excuse me man, but if i'm breeding that'd be the thing i'd aim for. Otherwise, no use in breeding(cept for egg moves). I've a nidoking 31 hp,29 atk,31 sp atk,30 speed 25+ def 20+ sp def. It took me 2 days to get. It'd probably take me 5-6 days with breeding. I'd use a 31 hp,25+ atk,31def, 25+ sp def, 25+ sp atk weezing over one with egg moves with decent ivs(thats just me)

Well, first to say your def wrong, but yes, why yes I breed an umbreon comp of that caliber (ok, so his def is 27 but that's not a problem at all; and as far as speed I lol at you for that, though his is 23 it's not really needed because even with 31 he probably won't out speed any sweeper, Umbreon is defensive and that's more important, though that said I believe all IVs should be above 20 in most cases [though you can build an umbreon with a preferred 0 in spd IV for wish passing), and the jolteon eevee isn't timid unfortunately, but nothing bad either.  My Vaporeon eevee is by far the best, now if only I had gotten to the egg move breeding level before I found one >_<

Ugh, look, the point is it's still perfectly viable to breed godly pokemon with an OT.  I'm not saying it wouldn't produce more with non-OT, just simply saying it's not necessary.  Trust me if I wasn't so lazy my alt would be breeding them instead of my main lol.

"More" could be a number equal to 1, and without the bonus it might be equal to 0 (zero) in amount of time user decides to spend on breeding, - that better explains it.
