Horde Battle Match

An idea that probably will come up at all :
It would be possible to duel horde VS horde ? ( 5 pkmn VS 5 pkmn )

 

 

 

Obviously with the due limitations!

Like MOVE, POKEMON, ITEM etc...

The problem with horde vs horde matches is how utterly chaotic they would be. Matches would be over extremely quickly, likely determined by whose Rock Slide user is faster. There's little to no room for defensive play of any sort when a wall (and every other Pokemon on its side) is taking up to 5 hits per turn. A 5-turn Horde vs Horde battle would be considered a long one. It would just be a mess.

perhaps it can be simplified with the limitation of moves multi target ....
in any case I hope that this horde remains after Xmas because it is very nice :)

Triple battles already have move limitations like some of the moves hit adjacent targets or some hit everything. I don't know all the different ones because I've never played triples

3v3 is chaotic enough already that nobody on smogon takes seriously. 5v5 would be cringeworthy

Wild hordes were the only thing canon to Pokémon concerning hordes, and I'd like to keep it that way.
