With a decisive 4-0 match over their opponents Argentina came out as Champions of the 5th edition of the  PokeMMO World Cup beating Taiwan who came in the runner up spot with a very impressive performance throughout the tournament. As for Team Latam they beat Venezuela to claim the 3rd spot of the tournament.

Special mention to Venezuela who came in fourth and had a breakthrough performance in the group stage being the only undefeated team in the "Death Group" A.

In my opinion, if you're looking for a competitive event, you can't add gimmicks, we can add stuff like SM or something like that, which keeps being competitive, but stuff like Monotype or alikes, aren't very good for something which is made to be competitive itself.
