Hi Lorewaifu, I wanted to add that now Slowpoke also appears as 100% in the water in Slowpoke Well.
Groups are Monster and Water 1, which is different from Whismur and has the same catch rate. Levels are 20-25.
It can have Confusion and Water Pulse (also Disable) so I guess Own Tempo Smeargle is better here? I would just Falseswipe and throw balls, but worth saying I guess.
In the spanish section you put Paras instead of Hoppip for Fairy group btw.

Are you referring to these hats?

He's probably refering to the Parasect hat that you get for reaching 10000 pvp points

I'm a grinder so it really didn't bother me that much but I got somewhat discouraged when I missed the first Alpha Ditto because I was sleeping, which is why I understand how you feel but it was obvious they were going to appear again. The cost of buying most alphas on GTL is lower now too because people stopped taking it as an event thing.
Regarding the meta changing, realistically, with some research you can predict what the tiers will look like, just visit Smogon.
You don't really need to catch all the alphas daily, getting some is enough. It's not like you can build 2/3 comps with HAs daily anyways, unless you are willing to spend a ton of money.

Looks great.
However I would consider cutting out the Gift Shop vanities if possible (depending on how you structured the data collection process), their value is bound to the RP fluctuations anyways, you should never pay more than the equivalent in RP.

Batton Pass teams have been problematic for years in singles competitive and they happen to be super strong for E4 Rematches, although after the nerf players found a lot of strategies that while riskier can beat the E4 faster. I doubt it will ever be "fixed" considering those two things.

Don't think there is a community for berry farmers, even less so from the west.

Additional categories could include :
+ Players who have beaten the e4 the most per day /week/ month/ all time.

I like this idea way more. Not many people beat E4 after the first few rematches, and it's actually challenging trying to fit 4 regions in 1 amulet coin.

No they don't.
...Yeah, you are right. I was thinking more about the in-battle text because lately I've been trying to do something with that, but the dialog boxes works differently.

It's placebo effect, the messagebox no longer displays, but game still loads the edited string.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Shorter strings load way faster tho. It won't be very noticeable in this case because the strings are short anyways, but is very noticeable when you switch your game to a language like chinese.

I can provide a Chinese one, it will take some time to translate it

I "translated" it (not really, just used SQL Querys/Excel + veekun data). I didn't bother with the notes because my chinese is not that good, but I tried to keep most of the things I considered could be of value to someone that knows more chinese than me.
- The headers are in spanish/english.
- I probably should've checked the legality of the movesets to make sure I didn't mess something up, but I didn't.
- I already know there a few mistakes here and there, but they come from the original dataset, getting this kind of data is a lot of hard work, so it's understandable.

1. This has been corrected, thank you for brining this to my attention.
2. Feel free to link your source here in this forums thread. I do try to keep the movepools up to date. However, if there are any moves that have been added and are not addressed in this post, then feel free to cite them here in this thread.
Hey, I got two things that might be of interest for you:
- Screenshots with all the learnsets for the Pokémon in the game. The screenshot are from last week, so pretty recent, they are named as the dex number for the corresponding Pokémon.
- A complete dataset with the data available in the images mentioned in the previous point. The data is in csv and in the following table format.
id pokemon_name n_dex move learn level 91 bulbasaur 1 Growl START 1 90 bulbasaur 1 Tackle START 1 89 bulbasaur 1 Growl LEVEL 3
… … … … … … 54521 Total rows.
A few final considerations:
- I only spent like 2 days cleaning the data during my free time, so there may be a small error here and there, but nothing major.
- I know that there are a few mistakes in my screenshots, basically some duplications. I took care of that in the data cleaning process, but didn't really modify the images. There is the possibility that some Pokémon is missing in the dataset, I didn't really check for that and that part of the whole process was done with a lot of human intervention.
Everything was done with SQL, Python and Excel.
Let me know if you can make use of any of these two things. I don't mind helping with the data or something else if you need it in a different format.

NGL saying that offense takes 0 skill is kinda silly. Most experienced players would advice any newbie to not use HO because these teams are harder to use if you have no idea how to maintain tempo.
For your experience, maybe something is lacking in your teambuilding? Happens to all of us, it's ok to take a break and try again when something changes.

Hi, everyone.
I'm very interested in knowing how the learnsets are determined for each pokemon in this game.
I already know that we have Gen VIII movepools with Gen V moves*. However, how is it determined at what level does X Pokémon learn Z move?
* I know there are modifications here and there for balance reasons and that the ingame learnsets aren't an exact copy of the last learnset available in the main games for each Pokémon.
Besides that, from what I could gather:
- When determining when a Pokémon learns a move, the later generation will take priority.
For example. In game, Diglett learns Fissure at level 44, exactly like in BDSP & Sword/Shield…
Pokemon Move Level Version Diglett Fissure 44 BDSP Diglett Fissure 44 Sword/Shield Diglett Fissure 33 Let's Go Diglett Fissure 43 USUM - But apparently it doesn't apply to Let's Go moves?
In MMO Diglett learns Fury Swipes at level 21, which doesn't coincide with the Let's Go learnset.
Pokémon Move Level Version Diglett Fury Swipes 15 Let's Go diglett Fury Swipes 21 Fire Red/Leaf Green - And then there is Drowzee that learns Wake-Up Slap at level 22 ingame. In this case I can't even find in which generation/game Drowzee learns this move at level 22, from what I know, it's a move that's learnt at level 29 in USUM and that's it, but maybe I'm missing something?
Pokémon Move Level Version Drowzee Wake-Up Slap 29 USUM Maybe someone here can help me figure this out?

I just noticed that in your dataset Landorus has the moveset for what I think is Reshiram?
Besides that, considering that the movesets have been updated recently, and that I also have noticed a few errors (or changes?) here and there while comparing with the ingame PokeDex, I was wondering if you would be willing to share with me the method you used to get all this data in table format (I assume a combination of image processing+OCR with screenshots as source), perhaps I could help you update it?

I don't know if we "need" more boxes, but I would love if we had more. Sometimes I breed a lot of stuff at the same time, or just want to keep breeders for later and I don't have enough space to keep things organized

Hello, I was just finishing making this team and I was wondering if it was useful anyway: Pokes
(chansey has bold nature, metagross careful nature)
Have a good day.Not OP but from experience those work too.
- Pretty much the best Pokemon at the moment for E4 runs is Nasty Plot Gengar with Air Balloon, and then there are viable partners like Belly Drum Poliwrath, Nasty Plot Hydreigon, Calm Mind Chandelure and Dragon Dance Scrafty.
- People are more creative with the scarfers, but the most commons are Metagross, Froslass and Chandelure. I've also seen Jellicent, Rotom, Golurk, Shedinja.
- Rocker is usually Chansey. Gligar and Shuckle rarely.
Also, two tips, in Sinnoh, Bertha can have Unaware Quagsire which can make you waste a lot of time.
In Kanto and Hoenn, Agatha and Sidney can have a Choice Scarf Moxie Gyarados that can legitimately sweep you with some RNG crits/flinches, which is why I prefer Thunder Punch Metagross over Rocks.

Thats a great idea to help out newbies getting into pvp. Im not sure tho how the old players would feel about sharing pokemon movesets they worked so hard to figure out
I'm sure most of the old players would appreciate having more precise information about the meta when they are building.

I believe it's to encourage players to try out new tiers and collect all the hats, alongside newer players getting the hats they would have missed when they first came out.
I don't really care about how the devs decide to give the hats, but the only thing it is doing so far is making it so people leave the tier after they get all the hats lol
