  1. I suggest creating a thread here. A support moderator will likely be able to help you.
  2. A variety of judges from a variety of backgrounds means a variety of opinions, leading to some variety in the styles of the top 3. The most professional looking piece will not always be the favourite. Sometimes there is beauty in simplicity, and that can appeal to some peoples' tastes. While this may not be the result of a contest made for and by professionals, this isn't a professional art site, nor will skill or an artistic background dictate which judges have a say or make their choices count for more than another judge's. I ask that you all refrain from bashing the third place entry any more than you already have. There is a huge difference between disagreeing with its placement compared to other entries and going out of your way to insult both it and the artist that created it. Think about how your words can affect people.
  3. The next type is up to the winner of this contest, although they seem to be inactive. If there's no response within a couple of weeks, I may end up having to pass the choice onto second place, create a poll, or host one that I already have a poster ready for. I suppose we'll have to wait and see.
  4. Results announced here. Congratulations to the winners.
  5. There were so many fantastic entries this time around, the judging was very close for some of these and it was difficult to choose. Without further ado, here are the winners! ________________________________________________________________________________________________________ First place: Lyouie Entry: http://orig01.deviantart.net/a116/f/2016/258/e/6/lucario_by_lyouie-dahqt2r.png The judges loved the style Lyouie went with for this entry and were very impressed with how every aspect was pulled off. The beautiful usage of colours and overall attention to detail are stunning. Depicting the Lucario protecting a Riolu is a nice touch too, and very charming. A very well earned first place, congratulations! Second place: Moetal Entry: https://s14.postimg.io/4cnyyvqdb/ape11.png Something this entry brought to the table that few of the others did is a detailed background and a scene that tells a story, things that didn't go unappreciated by the judges. The anatomy of the human version on the left is quite well done, and the battle itself convincing. Overall a very solid entry. Third place: RainbowNebula Entry: http://i.imgur.com/0ndoL12.jpg Second and third places were very close. This artwork is very charming and cute, a completely different approach from the other placing entries. The minimal background helps to draw focus to the very happy looking Breloom. Honourable mention: WolfgangDamien Entry: http://i.imgur.com/3NrnNnpg.png This entry has very strong lineart and posing, but we felt that the application of colour and digital shading clashed with and detracted from the beautifully done hand-drawn shading. An excellent entry in its own right however, falling just short of third. ________________________________________________________________________________________________________ You can find all entries below. Thank you to all who participated, and I hope to see your artwork in the next one!
  6. We try to avoid using custom move mechanics wherever possible. The only time we tend to change them is when the canon mechanics are unbalanced in PvE (such as Thief's effect against wild Pokemon and False Swipe's absurdly high PP). Burns causing extra damage to grass types doesn't fall into this category, so won't be implemented.

    Vanity item suggestions belong here.
  8. Overleveled Pokemon can be withdrawn from the PC, but I don't recommend it since they won't obey you at all until you've earned enough badges to control them. This includes your starter. If you'd like to withdraw your Pokemon anyway, hold ctrl then click on them or drag them to an empty party slot.

  10. You start the game with the national dex, and can obtain Crobat, Espeon, and Umbreon at any time you'd like to.
  11. If a player is being rude to you in private, the best course of action is to block them. If they evade it on an alt or are doing it in a public chat, feel free to make a support request in-game through the menu. If a moderator capable of dealing with it is online, they'll receive a notification that something is happening. It's best to never respond to the people being awful in the chat yourself, as doing so will more than likely make things worse.

Signature request threads are not allowed. This was made quite clear when both of your topics were locked. I suggest finding a signature shop in Creative Media with a style that appeals to you.
  13. Keep the convesation focused on Snorlax. This isn't the place for personal disputes.
  14. This isn't guaranteed, but it's likely. The reduction is 0-5 from each stat, so you are likely to ruin your pretty much perfect Pokemon. It may be best to consider a moveset that doesn't include Hidden Power.

It should be quite obvious at this point, but if you use a similar or identical password to Showdown anywhere else (including PokeMMO, email, banking, etc), you should change the passwords of those other accounts as soon as possible to prevent any of them from potentially being compromised. If you are a user of Pokemon Showdown and feel that you may be at risk, you can change your PokeMMO passwords here. https://pokemmo.eu/account_change_password/ (Game) https://forums.pokemmo.eu/index.php?/settings/password/ (Forums)
  16. This should be here instead of in its own thread. IVs should all be 6 instead of 0 though.
  17. If you're having trouble with the new Sturdy mechanics, try thinking outside of the box and making something that can bypass this very slight nuisance. Having two Pokemon attack it during the same turn or giving both of your Pokemon Surf/Earthquake/etc will allow you to take it out before it can be healed, assuming you mean the Hoenn rematch double battles. If you're referring to the ability mechanics, Sturdy was updated to make the ability actually useful in PvP matches and PvE instances. It is also canon to later generations. If you're referring to the usage of multi-hit moves, try either not using Pay Day or breeding a Rapidash with Double Kick (egg move) and Pay Day (event move). Rapidash doesn't have the attack stat or typing to be able to take out all Pokemon with Sturdy however, so giving up Pay Daying against NPCs may be your best option. With that being said, we're not going to be preventing NPC Pokemon from having the ability nor are we going to revert the change. It encourages finding strategies to efficiently deal with it without breaking the difficulty of the game.
  18. Fixed palette, noticed a few pixels forgotten when swapping a colour for a slightly different shade. Backsprite doesn't have these issues.
  19. Assuming it's fine due to lack of feedback, so the shiny palette for Totodile is done. Left the red untouched, changing it would have some side effects.
  20. I had some time on my hands, so drafted a new Totodile as the current one is tiny. Backsprite is subpar, but can probably be edited into something usable.
  21. Altering the behaviour of certain NPCs is perhaps not out of the question, but there is no chance whatsoever that they will be removed entirely.
  22. There has never been a way to upload directly to these forums. Images need to be hosted on external websites.
  23. This is a convenient place to upload images.
