  1. Grass isn't super effective on Nidos and Camerupt and Signal Beam gives the Grass-coverage HP Ice would so it's really a good Hidden Power but overall these kind of shiny gift Hidden Powers are just kek because the surprise is just completely ruined. Oh well, always hyped for NU tournies.
  2. When you have written this pile of text you kinda need to have a massive break from it. Kinda confused about the whole Shedinja case but if it SHOULD work like that then I think it belongs there but we'll see. I added stuff like Keith's Seviper set which was pretty good etc. but I just kinda need to give this a break.
  3. Secretly Dutch. also #LYLESelfie

  4. I decided I'll wait for the last NU tournaments usage as well as the upcoming NU tourney usage in few days and then according to discussion so far in this thread I'll start making preliminary ranks. Usage is kinda important in terms of viability rankings: I did argue that it cannot base on those obviously but just you cannot rank something too high if there is no usage.
  5. Alright guys let's remember this is NU viability thread, not doubles (:
  6. Good point. I could personally argue that Zangoose fits Offensive Uber Characteristics but if it isn't used enough it's just not right to ban it. I kinda get what you mean now though. Gengar just gets insane usage.
  7. Well if something is an Uber, it is a problem by definition. Edit: I think Gengar is cancer but it's hard to write about. Is it offensive Uber? I don't know it has pretty mediocre speed for OU sweeper and laughable bulk. Does it sweep with little effort? Nope. Does it make the metagame centralized? I mean I guess you could kinda argue for that because you always know a Gengar is there but it isn't like Heracross which has really low selection of Pokemon to beat it. I'd say 50% of the viable Pokemon beats Gengar on 1v1 situation. To me oddly Gengar just fits the most vague unhealthy aspect ever - It is too good to not use. That's what Gengar mainly is about with the insane offense and variety but it just doesn't sweep without effort. But it does pack an insane power overall and just has some many positive traits but I don't know what ban criteria would I even list it even though I don't want to see it in tier but that just sounds biased.
  8. Isn't it weird though? This is a tier with 1 ban and there isn't a single Pokemon that everyone is like "Yeah this shit is S rank no doubt".
  9. Would be appreciated if the game allowed me log in the game, k thnx Seriously fix your damn shit, this is just ridiculous.
  10. pls you weren't even in MARP Definitely support though.
  11. A little quite important thing about VGC was left out to really make this VGC format and the whole "choosing of 4" relevant: Both players need to hear the opponent's 6 before starting the battle.
  12. Jolly with Choice Band. 252 Speed 252 Attack. Return/Double-Edge, Earthquake, Pursuit, Iron Tail. Oh yeah Quick Attack is an option too if you wanna farm BP but it isn't THAT good since Tauros is fast and being locked to weak move like that sucks.
  13. Orange Desu's Labcoat. One of a kind. Can't really say I feel like I want to change it at all.
  14. I wouldn't rank Aggron anything higher than B. It's so damn unreliable and quite frankly - a dumb Pokemon. It should be a defensive "wall" but if every physical attacker almost OHKOs you and special attacker as well and then the speed is absolutely awful.. It's all about base stats which I think are the highest of all NU but the fact it's so unreliable Pokemon which only main use is to slow down CBers then I can kinda see why it hasn't been used once in first two NU officials.
  15. Team Name: PokéManiacs Team Tag: PkéM Registered Players: OrangeManiac, SamuraiHunter, Spaintakula, PokemonMagnet, SpartacusGD, Raptori, Parkeeeeeeeee, REEVS, RyoOhSora, Mutrumbao Team Captain: OrangeManiac
  16. Pinsir is just another of those Pokemon that is completely viable but am I convinced to rank it S yet? I'm just not. A+, definitely. But S? It's easy to revenge kill meaning it cannot sweep teams that easily and Salac strategies are vulnerable to priority. I mean Pinsir is just all about base stats in a tier like NU and it hits like a truck but I'm just not entirely convinced personally it should be S either but please give inputs.
  17. Damn, MMO's competitive level sure is bad if the second best placed team in officials can lose to a "bye".
  18. Duskull is notably better than Banette at stalling with Pain Split, due to low base HP and really good defenses. It also has Earthquake immunity and a fixed power Night Shade to prevent too much stuff to set up Substitute and stuff on it. At defensiveness Duskull outclasses Banette and yeah it should most definitely be added in this guide, I'll do it when I am back home. I don't think Duskull outclasses Banette as a Pokemon but at one role is in my opinion enough to add in the guide any NFE.
  19. Well future champs so I guess that works.
  20. Not at the moment but when the tiers will be fixed by usage it probably will turn though so I'll save myself from the trouble before it really is NU
  21. http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/ou-251343447 Yay for 1700 ladder
