  1. Removing EV training altogether is a bit of a "fuck you" to everyone who actually did it for their comps if just out of nowhere EV sliders are a thing. A little modified though I like this suggestion. Let's say you pay like 20k to a NPC it allows you to activate these EV sliders on your Pokemon allowing you to change them whenever you want. I agree what Robo said, especially changing EVs is so tedious and results in a stagnant metagame then I think EV sliders would really be a good thing for the competitive community but everyone who took their time to EV wouldn't feel like all their work is lost for nothing if you needed to pay a small fee to activate the EV sliders. Vitamins are just bad, just saying.
  2. It's pouring rain here, can I still join?
  3. I have to agree with this. Not only if Lum Berries will make major keks happen anyways but Breloom's bulk is absolutely a joke. I would be surprised if it would ever even get 2 Spores off before it's ded.
  4. I can't rank a barely top 10 used NU mon S. I just can't. I'd personally rank it at A+. I wouldn't rank literally anything at S in the current NU. Grumpig is probably the closest but if you get Pursuit trapped then it always takes away the reliability a lot and it's not unbeatable especially with physically offensive teams. Some might argue Hitmontop is S but I don't think it honestly is S rank even if it's used that much. It's only the fact you need a Spinner, Intimidate user, Absol and Zangoose counter etc. it's just a Pokemon all in one but not alone anything that insane imo.
  5. I disagree with Roselia, otherwise agreeing with the ranks a lot Oh and Cradily needs to be A at absolute minimum, it's disastrous. Yet if literally no one is using it ranking it too high just doesn't make sense. I personally seen it action would consider it possible S. I think Scyther's speed ranking amount the very top of viable NU (with Ebuzz) and 105 attack make it a bit higher than B+. Might give longer reasoning later.
  6. I'll wait for new NU usage and start to make a rough draft of this, everyone pls contribute to this now
  7. I'm definitely for removing the sleep clause, tbh. Every rule by default should always have heavy reasoning why it exists in competitive Pokemon. In singles, you would get why Sleep Clause exists since it gives pointless free turns with little or sometimes no risk. However, for Doubles this is completely different. Let's consider the move Sleep Powder first. Not only does it have 25% of completely failing and missing a turn when opponent most likely is coming at you in full force but that 1-3 turn sleep is just absolutely jokingly short. 33% of the time the whoever got inducted to sleep misses as many turns as the one that attacked you if you got 1 turn sleep. Yeah 33% of the time it can give 1 free turns and 33% two free turns but let's remember the miss chance which often means horrible things happen to the Sleep user. There is a chance for it being "unfair" but there's two more factors to it. First: Lum Berry. This will absolutely destroy the life of a sleep inducter. 2) At worst you're just wasting a moveslot to a move which doesn't even give a higher chance to win. A problem is the move "Spore". Due to no miss chance this has a higher chance of being just overall more beneficial but let's remember the only decent user of it is Breloom, standing at 2.22% usage. Also base 70 speed is just flat out ridiculously bad in a fast based tier like Doubles. It probably wont even get those two Spores off before it's dead not to mention the Lum Berry argument and the one that 1/3 of the time you just missed as many turns as the sleep inducter. And heck, if Breloom can even get one Spore off.. like I said that's already good. You could argue that "it's a haxy move not promoting skill" but heck like Eggy said there are so many haxy things as well in this game. Why to suddenly limit only Sleep when it isn't even really that OP? If we had 1-5 turn sleep I might actually argue for having sleep clause mostly for the insane RNG nature of this but due to 1-3 sleep I feel like Sleep is like a high risk high reward but not even really convinced the reward is higher than the risk. If anything, quite opposite.
  8. Nah I pretty much agree with everything here. I might just copy paste this when I get to Raticate.
  9. I appreciate the input guys. To keep this guide as coherent as possible, I add my own sets first and then I'll collect in spoilers every community input which allows you to explain the set.
  10. Mfw people are analyzing Delibird so much. But yeah true.
  11. I'm not implying anything, it was a question. Well Cradily is maybe one but what special walls do we exactly have? Grumpig and Mime resist the Fpunch, so do Muk and Swalot, Hitmontop will Intimidate it, Walrein and Lapras are better off Thunderbolt'.. Edit: Well there's Piloswine which Fpunch is good for but due to Sandslash and Golem it is literally useless. Yes it is my guide and I'm not gonna add a set there which for me it doesn't make any sense. Not like I hate SubPunch Amphy as I used to use it in old UU but I just find it having no real use in the current NU tier.
  12. To keep things organized I first complete this with my movesets, then add community's input. However, I'm a bit sceptical about SubPunch Ampharos. What exactly does it notably hard? Ice-types won't switch in on Ampharos pretty much ever, Steel-types are non existant and Rock.. well Hidden Power them. Just overall damage I think that STAB Thunderbolt does much more damage without type effectiveness because of the high special attack.
  13. Oh yeah so the move is Mirror Coat but I just thought of Magic Coat when writing. I got it now. Mirror Coat for Curse set is really viable, though.
  14. Oh yeah. Magic Coat is the actual move, so description is correct but just botched the name. Fixing when on computer.
