    I believe it was made to be consistent across every FPS level. Before it would slow down/speed up if your fps was slow/fast.

  8. No. No they don't. Unless you consider standard 'use' as 'abuse'. You can pm me your theory, but stop spreading misinformation.
  9. This has been resolved by duplicating the first place prize for both players and modifying the bracket to show the correct winner. The bug had already been resolved for next update. This was a one time fix and we will not be doing this if it were to occur again before the next update.
  10. I'll see if I can get some priority for 'leftovers' from previous rounds to get into next ones for next update.

  12. Pairing currently works on mostly RNG. It shuffles current registered players, picks one, then picks a random match. Preferring within a 'close' ELO gap, but will allow a larger ELO gap if no close match found. There still is a maximum accepted ELO range, but it shouldn't be an element in NU due to the lower overall gaps.

  15. He has 235+ days of played time and farms for shinies a bunch + RNG + outlier? It would be more surprising if there WASN'T someone with 12 OTs.
  16. Shinies and you: An informative PSA While there's nothing to say that hasn't already been said in some form or another, here's a few important facts that keep being distorted. Aside from Donator Status, there are no significant ways in which players can boost their shiny rates. New players do not have a better chance than older. Most importantly RNG is RNG, there is no guarantee to get a shiny in 100,000,000,000 encounters. Each encounter is a new RNG roll, independent of any previous. Statistical outliers will exist in both extremes. For every new player who gets a shiny, many thousand more do not. Encountering lots of things, like using Hordes, is still the most effective way to encounter a shiny. And here's some data. Of the last 100 captured shinies: The average played time is 15.76 days. (11.33 days if ignoring top 3/bottom 3 outliers) The minimum played time is 1.67 hours. The highest played time is 235 days. 78 out of 100 were captured with a player with more than 1 day of played time.
  17. The minimum queue size for ranked to run was reverted back to 8 during the maintenance. I've lowered it back down to 6. As far as ELO range goes, you should still be getting matched up quite often.

    Is this still happening? I tweaked the security settings a few days ago that should have reduced/removed most of them.
  22. There is no scheduled update for today, it is just downtime for maintenance.
  23. I am fairly against the idea of two separate donator statuses. There's no need for two very similar yet different benefits. Adding more benefits to the already existing donator status is much preferable. I don't know what you mean by +X% for those actions, there isn't a single 'value' to boost. You would have to quantify it in a way which would work (both programatically and somehow understandable to users) One such theoretical example might be "If total IVs are less than 100, there is a 50% chance to reroll IVs". But how would you explain this to players accurately? Then you have the issue of is giving players an effective boost in average IVs caught too much 'Pay2Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeen'? Or is it just 'Pay 2 save time'?
