You are correct DoctorPBC it is something that was overlooked. We are currently discussing what should be done manually until the system is in place and I will be creating another 16 man tourney similar to last months here pretty soon.

Top 16 and if people are not present it continues to go down the list. Better get to winning in ranked battles.

This is up the hosts but as you can see with the latest events approved that are automated most are 64 man and I see that being more the norm than the exception.

I just want to make everyone aware staff included that doubles is currently not a viable tier for the automated tournament system so it will need to be ran the old way with registration on the forums and staff lead.

Like I have hinted in the past it is not only PVP that is being released on this update.

We have more than just end game pvp coming this next update please be patient with us a little while longer.

We have had the good fortune of continued growth the past couple of months which is why the past few weekends we have seen our server hit our cap. Do not worry though we set caps so we can maintain reliability and as long as we see our server able to handle it we will continue to increase the cap as needed. We want to be able to allow all players who want to play the ability to join without having to wait.

It is great to see old players who have left decide to come back. I would recommend you take a look at our update logs for changes as there are many. Also you come back at a good time as we will be releasing a major update soon. Glad to have you back.

What I think is if someone wants to suggest changes they do so in the proper subforum and that would be the suggestions subforum.

It is nice to see players that were here during the beginning come back and see how much has changed.

If all other things created equal you will have a higher score if you play more matches and we currently will not limit participation in the time duration the ranked PVP is open but understand the weight is more so the winning percentage than it is the number of games played.

If you are talking about usage it will be handled in the system automatically for staff run tournaments in the automated system.

From what I know there will be a monthly tournament based on the Ranked PVP scoring that occurs twice daily and requires BP to enter. The Staff created tournaments will be able to be scheduled at any time and will go through the same process they do now and will still be presented the way same way they are now. The only difference will be less staff if any will be required to be online and monitoring at the time the Tournament starts. For Tournaments that cannot fall into the automated process we will still be hosting traditional tournaments as we do now so we should not see a decrease in variety of tournaments ran just the ones with the functionality to be run automated will do so and will be more streamlined.

Staff run tournies will use the same system but are not part of the unranked or ranked pvp system or monthly tournies. The current staff run events will turn into automated events that have specific set of rules depending on what the host of the Tourney wants.
