I've been waiting for a trade log since I started playing this game and now that we have one it's absolutely underwhelming
for starters: only being able to see the last 9 trades/purchases is not enough since it can be filled up in less than a minute with "useless" data, ie: when buying cheap breeders, when buying items that are being listed in small quantities by different people, when sniping items (sometimes I have to buy a single/low quantity of items from a listing cuz it errors out if someone else buys even one item from that listing, ie: 99 exp candies, I try to buy em all but someone buys one before I do, so now there are 98 and the purchase fails (Kyu plz fix)) or when mailing/trading with lots of different people
The information being provided by the trade log isn't enough: we should have trainer names for mails and trades, (if technically possible) we should be able to see a Pokemon's data even after selling/trading it
and I would love if the trade log could reflect pokemon/item flipping since each one has a unique ID
if the trade log's capacity couldn't/wouldn't be expanded I would be happy with the game simply duping the data to a text file, if for some reason there isn't a massive global trade log server side and there are concerns of the claims that could be made by editing said text file then hashing the file and sending the hash to the servers would fix that

thats it, I just wanna flex my snipes correctly and I wanna see the prices I bought stuff for, getting asked "how much did you buy that for?" and answering "idk LOL" isn't nice! or calculating how much I spent on berry seeds and that kind of stuff would be WAY easier with purchase history

Introducing: the hoverboard!!!!
This would be a bike item that WOULDN'T remove your follower (and would give them a mini hoverboard if possible), that way you could always be flexing your shiny magikarp EVERYWHERE with style
Just imagine, going around at mach 5 flexing your shiny on the plebs, who wouldn't want that?
(one like this, the ones with wheels are lame)- IIZapperII, Xreactive, SacredDiver and 2 others

if you try to buy any listing with more than 1 item and someone buys EVEN 1 of them while you're buying it, the purchase will fail will the message "The requested listing could not be found"
it makes NO sense that I can't just get whatever is left
that just happened to me 5 times while trying to buy some exp candies and every time someone had just bought ONE
it's also super annoying when trying to snipe items
so I would love to see it change :󠄿D

•Challenge any of your link members for a battle directly from the link
• maybe even a 2v2 battle if the link has 4 people (pls that would be so awesome)
•Being able to see where in the map your link members are
•Spectating them from the link
•Abilty to give link leader status to anyone without leaving the link yourself
•being able to trade without being close to each other (may not be possible but it would be super nice)

I've been thinking about what would be a good way to change alphas in a fun way without completely obliterating their economy and I've come up with some ideas:
1. implement a way to get alphas by just battling them
alphas are super lame when they become just the red mon to catch mindlessly just in case they have good IVs for selling(that's why I'm ok wth the nerfs on pain split and endeavor) so alphas could be spiced up if you can get them by just battling, but how?
well, if you kill the alpha it should "come back for more" or "get stronger" several times maybe even cycling thru it's known movesets on every "phase" (but that may be too much)
it could also request help from the non alpha mons on the swarm
you could even go as far as giving alphas the ability to intimidate pokemon on later phases so they are scared and don't want to battle anymore to make it really challenging
not only these changes could make them super fun to get but also give other pokemon that are seen as useless some use, devs could even release alphas that will help with the next alphas and such
with this, the time alphas are in the overworld should be increased so people have plenty of time to make a strat and give it several tries if needed
"but what about little Timmy, he can't battle this mighty alpha!!!"
little Timmy can still catch the alpha! but for a lesser reward, for example, removing the exp candies
or even better, giving a special reward for those who beat the alphas, in a perfect world we would have an achievements system and that would be a nice way to keep track of it and to reward players accordingly with something like a exclusive vanity or a exclusive title/badge in your trainer card letting them flex it (but that's a topic for another post)
even a special ribbon, special pokeball or cool text in the catch location information window would be nice
2. Make alphas wandering encounters and give HA chance to normal swarms.
what if alphas just appeared around the world randomly just like phenos?
making a big and intimidating alpha appear on certain locations on any region every x amount of time would be super nice and would make the community work together to find them, specially if their spawn interval is fixed
this could give some functionality to some npcs and tvs too, something like "An powerful beast is terrorizing Pallet town/has been spotted near Mt moon, you seem like a strong trainer, you could help them!!" bla bla bla and that would make them feel more special than just a big red Mon in the middle of a swarm
normal swarms close to the alpha's spawn time could be used to alert players that the wandering alpha is coming and having a chance of getting HA on normal swarms is just a nice addition that gives more value to normal swarms
(having HA chance on normal encounters if you use lures would be a good idea too, specially if the idea 4 is implemented)
3. Alphas as encounters in dungeons.
whenever dungeons are introduced getting random alpha encounters in dungeons would be so fitting for them, imagine, you find an amazing alpha gallade in the middle of your run that you can get either by catching it or defeating it
wouldn't it be could?
4. Make alphas only breedable with other alphas
this would make breeder alphas way more valuable and will solve the problem of some alphas reaching 20k each which is dirt cheap, not even super crappy natural 2x31's go that low and it's super sad and strange to see alphas being SO insultingly cheap to the point people spend more on balls than what they can get back by selling the alpha
"but then what's the point of breeding an alpha? they would be super expensive and for what? a red glow?
yes! people do infinitely more for a slightly color shifted Pokémon so everything is possible and the flex power is real
and maybe, just maybe an extra feature could be added to alphas
what feature? could be anything really
like making alpha catching easier by "intimidating the wild alpha" and lowering it's stats or leaving it unable to act for x amount of turns
or give them a special glowing trail when you have them as a follower
whatever would be nice
😄

SpoilerThis guide is a spiritual successor of the 2015 guide with the same name, made with the help of @squickGiannoamazing pokedex page
The goal of this guide of to show where and how to get breeders for any egg group in the most efficient way possible, providing at least 1 location with 100% encounter rate for pokemon in that egg group (if possible)
RECOMMENDED POKEMON FOR BREEDER CATCHING
I use Delcatty for breeder catching, along with a smeargle with its only move being false swipe which are NOT necessary but they are very nice to have for thisSpoiler
A female Delcatty with cute charm will give us 75% chance of encountering a male pokemon (if their gender ratio is 50/50) so for our purpose its extremely useful!
You use assist to false swipe the pokemon and use thunder wave to paralize it(if needed), wide lens gives it 100% accuracy (its technically 99.999999...% because this game is made with wet paper, duck tape and lots of love <3, so it can fail sometimes) and payday is for getting some extra money off of the pokemon you don't want to catch, most of the time the females you encounter
foresight solves the problem of catching ghost pokemon
You need to fill the other slots of your party with dittos (you can't assist transform) or smeargle/any other pokemon only with moves that can't be assisted, other than false swipe, here is the list of moves that can't be assisted.
Optimal Delcatty guide by @DragoTamer that goes into more detail on how to breed it and train it!

for the next two zones you'll have to use foresight on delcatty, a smeargle with soak OR a pokemon with trick and any damaging move (preferably a tanky one with a move with lots of pp), you put a focus sash on it, trick it, hit the other pokemon and they'll be at 1hp and you'll be able to catch them, the focus sash does not get consumed.

]
(este no es el mejor set de movimientos ni pokemon, por favor no lo copien 1:1, en este caso este pokemon tambien sirve para sincronizar naturalezas)

I agree with the idea of not locking complete species behind lures cuz its super super dumb when they weren't locked at all, it would be better if lures only locked certain evos and gave them 5% encounter chance to spice up some places and give 10% encounter rate to mons with base 5% encounter rate
I think that ALL pokemon should be encounterable (is that a word?) even if their encounter rate is super low and if you want more of them you can get lures, but they SHOULD NOT be mandatory
-
this will prevent doing nothing for 4 minutes like most people do if they don't snipe on the gtl and will encourage more creative and higher usage for pokemon with those abilities !!!
-
this would make box management and pokemon trading on mobile less painful and will mitigate a problem I find frequently, when moving mons from my team to my boxes the sliding movement activates the back navigation gesture sometimes
(also being able to see you team on the right side of the screen on the trade menu would be awesome if this is implemented, double tapping dittos or something else to fast trade instead of selecting one by one would be game changer) -
Strings were intentionally nerfed/removed???

now berry farming on one account takes almost the same time as it did for all of my 4 accounts
this pretty much kills berry farming for me
and I can't believe that I'm saying this: now the most tedious and boring part of egg hunting is making the eggs instead of hatching them..... lol
#KyuPlsFix
if strings themselves are problematic somehow just add an instant animations/text option in game
nerfing such a massive and important QoL feature is a recipe for disaster, and a recipe to mess with my muscle memory too T_T
