In Pokemon go, once a day you're able to send a free gift to your friends. When starting off at base level, it only contains simple items, something like a potion and 2 pokeballs. However, each time you gift each other, your friendship slightly increases, and after weeks of gifting, you're able to get better items like hyper potions or great balls. I think something like this would be totally balanced for PokeMMO, and it would give players more motivation to use the community tab.

It was pretty tough for me to figure out how to animate frames in XML, but I was able to make what I was trying to for awhile: A fully animated DP/Pt Intro! I made two versions: 4K 60fps takes much more loading time but is definitely the most visually appealing. If you have an older pc or prefer loading speed, I'd recommend the 1080p 20fps one. I wasn't too familiar with XML, and there wasn't any documentation on animating backgrounds for PokeMMO yet, so figuring this out was pretty tough, but it was worth it! I know we can set the title screen as an image, but I think it would be cool if we could also have videos. I found this remaster of the platinum intro screen on youtube here and It feels absolutely perfect for pokemmo. Something that would be easy to implement too, please consider!

I feel like this is much easier to implement than custom Pokemon sprites or music. Even if changing the city locations on the map aren't possible, simply the ability to overlay a png file over the town map menu would do a lot for themes and mods in my opinion.
