"For science" I threw the cherish ball to see if it can actually be misclicked/wasted in battles. It can. For something that costs IRL money/RP or purchasable from someone who payed irlmoney/rp I think it should definitely have the "are you sure about that" option that the masterball has. It's so close to pokeballs/ultraballs etc that's it'll easily be done by alot of players and i think 50k per one on the GTL or real money shouldn't be able to be wasted so easily. Where is your red mushroom (Monday, 17th July) Extra help! Infort not got a video for today (too burnt out recently) But I will still help! Pokemon I'd take, Synchronise mon (Gardy/Espeon/Umbreon/Xatu/Behe etc) with Adamant/Jolly nature Smeargle for catching (Soak, False Swipe, Spore, Ball.) or Breloom for catching (read catch rates below as to why we don't need soak) Why? I'd use the sync mon up from tot try and match the nature for bonus points I'd use smeargle > any other mon so you can soak first (grass pokemon can't get spored) so you'd soak > make it a water type so you can false swipe/spore/catch. (depending on the mon though, If it's shroomish, you can just false swipe and pokeball for a 99% rate so you could just breloom/false swipe/ball) Pokeball to use: NetBall would be great for bugs (don't have the %) but heres the rest, (just /z = sleeping) Shroomish > Pokeball | Full HP = 43% | 1HP = 99% | Full HP/z = 87% | 1HP/z = 100% Silcoon / Cascoon > Pokeball | Full HP = 24% | 1HP = 56% | Full HP/z = 49% | 1HP/z = 100% Wurmple > Pokeball | Full HP = 44% | 1HP = 99% | Full HP/z = 87% | 1HP/z = 100% Treecko (need a lure to find it) > Pokeball | Full HP = 12% | 1HP = 27% | Full HP/z = 24% | 1HP/z = 53% > Greatball | Full HP = 16% | 1HP = 36% | Full HP/z = 32% | 1HP/z = 72% > Ultraball | Full HP = 20% | 1HP = 45% | Full HP/z = 40% | 1HP/z = 90% > Repeatball | Full HP = 24% | 1HP = 53% | Full HP/z = 47% | 1HP/z = 100% > Quickball (first turn) | Full HP = 40% | 1HP/z = 79% Just remember you get to enter one pokemon to one member of staff after the one hour is up. Avoid floor 1 (so many hordes of Wobaffet with no escape!) Floor 2 has way better chances for snorlax (Floor 1 i found 1/76 for a snorlax, Floor 2 I found 3/36 encounters) Extra Tips? I'd take a synchronise (ability) Umbreaon/Espeon/Alakazam/Gardy etc with the nature of Careful in my 1st Pokémon slot (to get the 20% bonus) False swiping with breloom will hurt a snorlax a bit (not too much) then i'd switch to a ghost type with para/sleep moves (recommend drifbloom for defog/TWave/hypnosis etc) Then I'd try throwing Dusk balls (in a cave, no catch rates for them but assume close to repeat balls) Shame I can't make it to the event, But!
