I hear there's actually a short cut beyond encountering the pokemon 1000 times. If you follow these few simple steps you will encounter a shiny: 1. First you need to get to mt. pyre on channel 6. Make sure to use repels and encounter NO pokemon the entire time you are in channel 6. Climb to the summit of mt. pyre. allow your repel to wear off, then walk in the grass and encounter a single pokemon. 2. If the pokemon is anything other than Chimecho, you failed. You will need to leave channel 6 and go to the kanto region, then you can try again. If the pokemon you encountered was Chimecho, you need to catch it with a regular pokeball (make sure your party is full, and the first slot in your Box 1 is open). 3. If the chimecho breaks out of a pokeball at any point, you failed and you will have to start from the beginning (making sure to leave ch. 6 and going to kanto to refresh the process). If you catch the chimecho on the first try, then you need to use more repels and leave mt. pyre by foot (DO NOT FLY). Once outside of mt. pyre, do not surf, you can now fly to Mossdeep city. Enter the PC and switch chimecho for your 6th slot pokemon. (Note: it must be Mossdeep City PC). 4. Make your way to Shoal Cave. Once you enter the cave, if the tide is high, you must spin 10 times in place clockwise just in front of the exit/entrance. The speed at which you spin does not matter; however, if you don't spin enough, or if you spin too much, you will have failed and you will have to start over (leave ch.6 and travel to kanto to reset). If the tide is low, travel down to the ice part of the cave (remember to use repels!). Once there, standing by the ladder, move the chimecho to the 2nd slot of your party. 5. Once these actions have been completed fly to Rustboro City, go into the pc, and release the chimecho. Then go talk to President Stone. Once the dialogue has completed, type into your chat box (only the characters in quotations, not the quotations themselves): "/unstuck". Wait to be teleported to littleroot town. 6. After all of this, the next pokemon you encounter will be shiny. You can travel or do anything, besides logging out. If the next pokemon you find is not shiny, you did something wrong and you need to restart. I hope this helps!

I'm sorry, I tend to be blunt in my responses. I basically wrote what I would think if I were a judge (which I'm not), and the Staff ain't going to listen to me, lel. I'm a contestant myself, all statements against the others by me are invalid. My posts were in no way made to "sway the staff's opinion". As you said, I want the best video to be displayed for PokeMMO. It would be a shame if that best video ends up getting PokeMMO sued... I gave my critique of Josh and Kyu's videos, pointing out what I thought were mistakes. If no one else thinks they are mistakes then I'm just a fool. I don't really even have a say in all of this, but I wanted to lay out my opinion and the reasoning behind my opinion. Trust me, I really do want what's best for this game, else I wouldn't have done a few certain things. And in my opinion what's best for this game is not a video that infringes copyrights... If they are allowed to "fix" (if staff even determine they need fixing) then, yes, they are indeed the best videos. Also, I am fully aware of how much effort and time it takes to make a video like theirs, and I also feel it would be wrong if they got fully dq'd. inb4 more hate on gilan posts <3

I only make a judgement about a player's gender based on the following two criteria: 1. is their profile pic and/or in-game character male or female? 2. if I hear them on TS and can then determine their gender from that. 1 has led me astray though, as I thought Munya was a female for the longest time ;-; 2 only happens occasionally... Once I do determine their gender though, I tend to treat females better than males anyways... Pretty much because I would rather be liked by 1 hot chick than 10 nerdy guys playing pokemon... but I do try to treat everyone with respect until they give me reason not to.

"donations" is false. You can call it "donating" all you want. But in reality you are purchasing "reward points" which can then be exchanged for various in-game items, which can enhance your virtual account. Thus, it is in reality micro-transactions, and they are making a profit. Therefore, I would argue it is a commercial.

I'm pretty sure Zehkar has it right... Cause before DLS, my time zone (US Central) was 6 hours behind GMT. Now it's 5 hours behind. So GMT 9-10pm seems correct to me.
