  1. What you are asking is "old players against new players" while this tournament is clearly about generations. Takens even said 16 legends of PokeMMO, there are no legendary new competitive players.
  2. I don't think so, I think performances are more relevant than the joining dates. Most of the players who are performing well in NG already played in OG. It means that the NG line-up would be ridiculously less interesting than the OG one to me and many players who are not going to find a place in the OG line-up would be players who performed more than the NG players in the NG itself. All in all, it will reduce the quality of the event. For instance, enchanteur who will probably not be in the OG line-up could not be a in NG line-up while we are probably all agreeing he's one if not the player who performed the most in the NG.
  3. Some of them were good in both OG and NG. I based my rankings on their performances during those gens, not on their joining dates.
  4. What do you mean ? NG starts in november 2017

  6. Is the title a reference to the Avenged Sevenfold song ? @Wudenbachs
  7. She was an example of positivity. I'll miss you Roxxy!
  8. It's full of sense, I explained it, you just don't get it, apparently too deep for superficial minds who made stigma based on inductions. I called it my point of view and never pretend it to be the best answer to coaching, it's a complex issue, it's not obvious contrary to what many people think here. I do not have the need or the desire to defend this point of view unlike you, I only intervened to denounce your misleading remarks. One more time, this analogy is completely inappropriate and irrelevant. If you don't see the difference between the possibility to prevent something and the total inability to prevent it, the difference between a society you're forced to take part and a game that you must register of your own free will or even the difference between brainstorming and murdering, I guess you're a lost cause. Thank you for showing to everyone what happens when someone is not satisfied by his own poor arguments, it directly leads to attacks ad hominem. I won the last PSL I took part as a player with a 7-2 ratio, I even kicked your ass that season but that's another story...
  9. Against coaching =/= Condemning coaching in an event where coaching is not allowed. It's called respecting the rules. I'm part of the "If you can't prevent coaching, allow it." point of view despite all the irrelevant analogies with drugs and murders. Kami already explained the difference between the possibility to prevent something and the total inability to prevent it, if you can't understand that, I'm sorry for you. A relevant analogy would be the doping in sports if we focus on the integrity of the competitiveness and if we were totally unable to detect it. I said "Allowing coaching would put an end to this hypocrisy for instance." What I meant is that allowing coaching drives people to be honest and acknowledge the fact that they have been helped. On the other hand, banning coaching forces people remained silent on the issue and to gain an illegitimate merit. It's funny how you allow yourself to talk about logic failure while you're the one who made stigma based on stupid inductions.
  10. It's so simple-minded or intellectually dishonest to say that those who are for coaching are the ones who want to coach or be coached. Whether as a player or manager, I personally always condemned coaching, it does not prevent me from preferring his permission, there is no inconsistency. Those who enjoy it are certainly the worst players and I attended many duels where the random player won his duel brilliantly against a good player while everyone agreed that he was coached. Allowing coaching would put an end to this hypocrisy for instance. To stigmatize a contrary opinion as you do makes me pity.
  11. Gratz to the winners ! Thanks to the hosts especially Roxxass who made her best to make this event a success even if she had clear gaps. Thanks to my Belgian teammates, glad to be part of such a great group of talented players! Mention to Pinklabel and his africa teammates who managed to strongly defend a whole continent, to Spain A team that was unexpected and definitely one of the very best team and to the Rest of the World team that made a good run thanks to their legendaryl members ! <3
  12. I have +- 40 UTs Almost every EV spreads are easy (atk/speed - sp.atk/speed - hp/def) I'm looking for someone known by the community or at least someone who's friend with someone I trust. I want it to be done "fast", I mean regularly, I'm not interested in a service that can provide only 3 comps/week. If interested, you can try to find me in game, IGN : K r i l i i n ; or by forums PM if you prefer. If I have more than one offer, I'll compare the prices, if not, your price is mine.
  13. The young, the evil and the idiot Once upon a time, a young Kriliin, little known to the community, was quiet at Vermillion. But the evil DoctorPBC had decided to disturb his peace, he tried to discredit the words of the young Kriliin by calling him "random". Although Kriliin is extremely nice, it's better not to piss him off. He reminded him of their last duel which ended prematurely with a 6-0. Despite some vain attempts to justify himself, the evil DoctorPBC understood that it was wiser to keep quiet. It was then that Gluumac the idiot arrived, his favorite hobby being to call the others of "randoms", he jumped on the occasion and tried in his turn to belittle the young Kriliin. However, what Gluumac the idiot had forgotten was that he had suffered the same fate as the evil DoctorPBC barely a week before. The young Kriliin refreshed his memory by evoking the painful 6-0 defeat he had inflicted. The crowd was delirious, who is this beautiful stranger who humiliates his opponents? It was during this moment of euphoria that the great KingBowser renamed the young Kriliin "the 6-0 master".
  14. My 2 cents, I like the idea very much but I allow myself to say how the betting process looks unfair to me. Beating 5 players in a row in 5 different tiers is a hard task and participants are not rewarded for that. In a classic wager, you can also win 500k by betting only 100k, you just need to win 5 times in a row and you can even lose, retire and stay positive in money. That "all or nothing" rule could still be interesting but you should consider doubling the amount. (100k bet and if you win the 5 duels in a row, you get 1m).
  15. Happy Birthday Funkybro' ! 65
