Show me where the npc's are buying the berries for more or the same price than gtl prices are you crazy??? They already nerfed it. Edit: And fyi we talking about leppas as a whole, rawst, cherry and pecha since those are the main ones that are farmed / produced. If you do the math like ImFunk think he did, selling the berries now on gtl is more profitable even with listing fees than it is to sell to npc. So all the fuzz you making about npc generating a ton of money for the game is shit unless people wanna undercut their profit.

Razi have you actually taken the time to plant berries on several accounts? I mean like 10+ alts all with a time estimation that differ from each other.

Npc do not buy the berries for more than people pay on gtl. So only an idiot will sell them to npc. And if you work out if people are making berries they also generate seeds by buying harvesting tools. That means money is being dispersed via the npc and not gained through npc. I have been playing actively since 2012. I know the berry system is generating the whalers but it is what it is for the time being. It'll be handled like they handled the egg industry in 2014 but why should we not exploit an opportunity if one is provided. If you wanna start talking shit, a player with not even a year behind his name keep it to yourself. When you reach 7 or 8k hours you can talk to me. You fcking struggled completing regions and now you wanna tell me how the economy works. Hypocrite

Yeh never said it is hard I said it is time consuming. It's a good way to make cash, you can benefit from it and so can the entire community so just let it be. If you'd rather grind your ass off beating gyms and such be my guest. Like someone said it's not bad cuz it isn't generating money, it's simply moving it around.

Well I mean I guess if you want to get the literal definition yeh you can play the game for free, that is if you got the roms "some way legally". Then you can traverse through all 3 regions without having expectations of joining the competitive scene or being able to afford decent shit in game without having to grind to the bone. Didn't you join a few months ago? When you joined our team we had to help you left right and center and you struggled your ass off just like the other members we helped. I honestly think smth should be done to better the economy. Also if you'd take your time to read I never said to make the current limiteds untradeable, I just said the future ones should be like the pumpkin backpack and hockey mask (untradeable) but you prob didn't understand cuz you weren't here that time when those vanities were released.

Well let me put it in perspective. A player who grinds 24/7 will never be able to compete with players who buy limited vanities. I mean you wouldn't even be that profitable from berries even if you have 1 or 2 alts not to mention that they nerfed it but that's not the point. There isn't really a good way to farm yen without selling limiteds and rp or "lowballing". The trade market is a joke. Believe me if you wanna play fair and grind and build it's gonna take you years like it did for the players who started out in the egg industry since 2014 without donating because even then limiteds that time didn't rise with 1000% value in a few months. Back then you could still trade for profit, believe it or not there was a shiny market. How is a player suppose to buy his/her desired shiny or make multiple comps? They wouldn't even be able to have good odds in the competitive scene unless they somehow generate millions to afford decent comps. I know this because I'm in a team that likes helping new members and man do they struggle to make a good buck or afford what they want. It's just undesireable to grind when others buy a vanity for 10 dollars and can generate 15-20 mil from it in less than 3 months. This is why the biggest percentage of the competitive scene consists from the older player base because it's just undesireable for new players to go through such lengths.

I'm doing my best or trying to get in there and it's definitely no walk in the park. Comp players spend hours on end to GRIND money in order to buy decent comps and have a chance to win at tournaments. I think the 200mil yen cap is intriguing seriously. Also 100% agree with you thag the game has become ptp.

People buy multiple limited vanities from the gift shop and log of and return in a few months awaiting huge profit while others have to grind to the bone in order to afford them and by the time they got enough cash those vanities increased multiple times already. Trust me when I tell you this game has become a pay to win scenario. It is what it is there's no denying it xD

Well you see that's the thing about value advice. Everyone is allowed or entitled to give an opinion and if it differs then a discussion starts and somehow a conclusion is reached. That's how it works. Just like you proclaimed above with the charmander ideal, just because someone offers you smth, that does not create a standard set price for an item/vanity or pokemon. If you read above you will notice that I said it was not a pure offer as in ''2.3 billion yen'' if you are incapable of understanding that.
