Am I just using the wrong pokemon for the Elite Four? Is there something I am missing that I need to do before I fight the Elite Four?

Not treating them like another small nuisance on your path to becoming champion and start treating them like final challenge in the region would be a good start :P

You really believe you can take 4 best trainers in the region with lv49 Unfezant? :|

Maybe you can be the one doing that record. That would be really apreciated. And it would show me how wrong i am with facts. And i could learn how you guys do to beat the game in a fresh start in matter of hours assemblng a team from the very begining.

Maybe I could. It would really be appreciated indeed. Well I doubt it will prove anything since you are so sure you can't beat it normally you probably won't belive and start claiming I'm picking OP mons, this is the only team able to beat region or other weird accusation.

But this doesn't matter, the biggest problem is me spending several hours to prove a point to someone on forum. I don't care that much. I'm trying to tell you, you don't need to waste cash on GTL to get through the story. If you know better then go ahead and feel offended by the game which does not let you skip itself.

As it was pointed several times on this page, this is PokeMMO, not emulator. Handhelds were designed for kids and even kid can beat four elite trainers of the region. Here, they make decision to make it more difficult so ppl will start planing and thinking instead of muscling they way through.

  3. There are a few ppl who record their experiences in PokeMMO. Who knows, maybe one of them will catch on this complaining and record normal playthrough without buying from GTL or other weird stuff you claim is necessity.

You can complete story without buying single Pokemon and with little to none xp grinding(you need to jump few lvs at the end just because E4 are(were?) real deal).

You are fighting with "best" of Pokemon world and complain you can't sweep them with just one Pokemon? Come on. Is there any game which gives you lots of different options but allows you to smash one button to victory? Because that's what ppl do without lvl cap.

My ev trained Electrode just got outsped by a Staraptor and Lucario, who at the same level, are physically incapable of doing so.

Choice scarf is enough to do it (+50% speed but locks you into one move)

I dont like that much the idea of having to buy some mons to Beat a gym (specially if later im going to let them aside) but i guess ill try ur approach. Thanks

It's not required to beat the story, but if you have problems with something it's fair way to help yourself.

    - Is there possible play coop?

You technically can play doubles with a friend(you two vs NPC) inside Battle Tower in Battle Frontier.

If you are asking for playing through the story then, as ThePrettyPetard said, you can't

This level cap destroys the game a bit. Every player should decide for himself how he or she wants to play.

And you still can. You can go PvP with team of Magikarps and you can play through story with just one pokemon. Just dont expect to win much. Gym Trainers and Elite Four are good/best trainers after all. Challenging them with just one pokemon is bit uguuy*

  8. I already saw something similar some time ago. Idea to add a "battle team". You choose 6mons for PvP and you do your own thing while waiting for match.

This is another approach to solve the same problem, being restricted while being in queue. Maybe there is a need for some system to solve it.

Take a look at any other MMO and name one that gives a 'reliable' amount of money for the time you spend killing mobs.

I know you're personally familiar with Runescape so I'll use it as an example.

While the mobs in Runescape drop very small amounts of gold, none of them drop anywhere near enough for it to be worth the time invested, or for it to really be usable in the general buying/purchasing of goods or services.

This is because if they did so in any meaningful way, you'd have the problems mentioned above; this applies to pretty much any MMO in existence, which I'm sure you'll find also have designated gameplay mechanics for making reliable amounts of money.

What they do give is common items that drop from monsters that you kill, alongside the occasional rare drop - both of which can be sold to other players or NPCs or used later to save themself some gold.

Both of which we already effectively do.

I think the point is to add gold award for playing the game without making it reliable method of generating $.
