  1. Ditto's are probably the best pokemon you can catch and sell.

  3. Could be true, we know it's either 15% or 19% from the tooltip, you would think its flat 15%, but sometimes tooltips lie ;)
  4. I don't think Dugtrio will be used in NU, let alone UU without arena pass, to be honest.
  5. There is a problem with what you're saying though, in my opinion. Arena trap is different to Magnet pull & Shadow tag because in OU, Arena trap effects a huge majority of the offensive threats and defensive threats, magnet pull only effects a few things, but it can't just come in freely against meta+forre as eq is x4.
  6. Dugtrio and Diglet do pretty much the same thing, somewhat Trapinch too. The reason why Dugtrio is so effective in OU and Diglet is not as effective in UU/NU is because the meta is much different. In OU there are a lot of Pokemon you can trap with Arena trap and kill, in UU, not so much and same goes for NU. There is a somewhat decent example of this with Sharpedo in NU and Crawdaunt in UU. On paper Sharpedo is very good with 2 dangerous stabs and some nice speed, Crawdaunt is quite alike Sharpedo, with the same stabs except its much slower but makes up for it in bulk, of course Crawdaunt does have some other things about it that makes it superior to Sharpedo, such as the ability to setup. Crawdaunt is very good in UU, and Sharpedo is pretty meh in NU, the reason is because in NU Poliwrath & Hitmontop is used often which really makes it underwhelming, Crawdaunt doesn't have to deal with that stuff. Just goes to show that something great in OU, put it in another tier and it could be pretty bad. edit: This isn't exactly addressed to your comment, I just wanted to explain my reasoning as to why Dugtrio was pretty OP in OU and Diglet isn't in other tiers, even though they're supposed to do the same thing. This is my opinion though, I could be wrong.
  7. I honestly think that feature would be a good idea and I don't agree with any of these cons about the idea because I feel they are not substantial enough for anyone to care about them. Firstly, sure you can use it an a portable Pokemon Centre. Is this really a big issue though? What are you really gaining from it? You can heal your Pokemon and get more PP, which in turn could give you more money per hour when Paydaying Well, is this really a cause for concern? Paydaying is already not a good method to make money, islands are much better, after that I would rather farm items and sell those to gain money. If this is what it takes to buff(lol) Payday, then go for it. It's really not a big deal though. You can heal Pokemon when far away EV training Again, not really a big deal. It's going to save you 10-20 seconds at most every 25mins or so. You can make the storyline easier to complete Firstly, the storyline is easy to complete without the use of any items, unless you're a noob in which case you wouldn't even think outside the box to do this little idea. Even if you did, it's still not substantial enough to worry about. Players who do think outside the box and do this little trick should be rewarded. -What is the problem with making something in your secret base ACTUALLY USEFUL? -I bet you majority of the players wouldn't even think about using their secret base to gain a small advantage like this.
  8. If you false swipe first, the ditto transforms to you, with the new update it copies your speed so it's a speed tie, you don't want to get hit or spored so the best thing to do is spore first, then false swipe and hope it doesn't wake up. I think you have around 25% chance to get the nature you want with Sync. While using pick up it works differently, your pick up Pokemon must be alive.
  9. Watching you like a hawk :rolleyes:
  10. I can do duels, I can do unofficials, I choke on the spotlight ;_;
  11. 3 wins out of 3. Gotta keep that 100% win rate up.
  12. I can confirm it works. I do this often.
  13. Isaac vs Hassan was the best match we had so far imo. Was such hype.
  14. This is a big reason also, I get bored easily.
  15. You guys trying to bump up your betting statistics? these all in bets are crazy lol.
  16. Firstly, having the ditto change into natu/abra is time consuming. As long as the Smeargle is level 100 with decent attack IV + 252 EVs in attack it will put the ditto on 1hp. Pokeballs are cheaper, but in the long run, you make more money from Ultra Balls. it's been said many many times before, time is money.
  17. It's been said before, but Wish is quite useless on Pikachu, you probably won't find yourself using too many substitutes to need to worry about healing. Sub, reversal can work, but you give up on a utility move which could be very helpful. edit: You can use it on the first turn, each time you bring it in.
  18. Volt Tackle Extreme Speed Surf/Brick Break(Generally I like Surf, but Brick break may be better since you're Jolly) Fake Out/Protect(Both have their perks, Fake out+Espeed combo is pretty great damage and both priority moves. Protect lets you scout for priority moves from the opponent and more importantly, pursuit)
  19. I like Gligar and I have swept with it many times(against you iirc :P), I find it somewhat tough to get that ground resist in NU, and Gligar is a pretty nice choice. I gave Pilo B+/A because I wasn't sure if I was being biased as a user myself. Good to hear other rankings.
  20. I feel Robo did a good job at giving reasons why on the Pokemon I listed above. Here are some new ones. Please do tell me if you agree or not :> Ninetales: B - I feel Ninetales is a very strong Pokemon in NU and has multiple movesets that can sweep well. It's got real nice bulk especially in the sp def side. I wanted to put Ninetales higher, because generally it does well for me when I use it, the only problem is there are a few Pokemon that wall it with ease and they are quite popular. Some examples would be Flareon/Lapras/Grumpig(with thick fat). Gligar: A - I think Gligar definitely deserves to be moved up to A, from B. It's a nice physical attacker that can be played bulky and speedy with great sweeping capabilities. It has that Ground + Electric immunity which is always nice in a team. It has duel stabs, not to mention flying which is very good for Hitmontop, a popular physical wall, and EQ which is probably one of the best stab moves in the game because of its huge 100 power & 100 accuracy. On top of that, it's a solid user of quick attack which is always nice in a team. Pinsir A - Hyper Cutter is one of the best abilities in NU for a physical attacker because of Hitmontop alone. Not only that, it actually has pretty great bulk in the defensive side, so it can take a hit from physical Pokemon. I think the typing is pretty great with the respectable bulk because it resist fighting/ground which is really solid. The reason why I don't let it go any higher than A is because it lacks a stab move and it's just not fast enough to sweep efficiently. Piloswine B+/A - Piloswine is quite unique, it gets that double stab Ice/ground combo which is probably the best thing about Piloswine. There is nothing in NU(nothing viable anyway) that can take EQ+Ice beam, and it does very unexpected damage, It can 1v1 grass Pokemon who try 1v1 it like Roselia & Tangela. It has respectable bulk and is immune to electric, with a bit of HP invest it can only be 3hko by hidden power from stuff like Ebuzz which makes it a good switch in. The downside to Piloswine is it has pretty nasty weakness which is why you use it as a CB hit and run poke. It's usually not going to sweep due to it's lack of speed, but it can break bulky things like Hitmontop that switch in and try to wall it only to get beat.
  21. Youtube sprees are always fun, you never know what you're gonna find :^)
