Fast Leveling Guide/Properly Level Your Pokemon
Okay so lets get started.
This guide was mainly made to help noobs get started on training their Pokemon.
This guide is made for a balance of fast leveling and proper leveling.
To start lets have a brief talk about IVs,EVs, and Natures of Pokemon.
Individual Values
Individual Values, or better known as "IVs", function like Pokemon Genes.
They are Pokemon traits, every Pokemon has different IVs which will decide how "Good" or "Bad" a Pokemon is.
Every stat has an IV range of 0-31 for each stat (HP,ATT,DEF,SPT,SPD,SPE).
and at level 100 the IVs are added to the Pokemon stats for their total values.
For example: A Pokemon with no effort values and 0 IVs will have 310 HP.
However if they have 31 IVs they will have 341 HP which makes a big difference.
IVs are going to be an important part in this guide so pay attention to them.
Make sure your Pokemon has the right IVs before you start training it, you don't want to train a pokemon with bad IVs.
Effort Values
Most trainers at this point understand what Effort Values are better known as "EVs".
However, I will explain them anyway.
Effort Values are the effort points you obtain after defeating certain Pokemon.
All Pokemon give different Effort Points.
To see a Pokemon EV yield you can simply check the Pokedex or simply look it up on the internet.
Note: When you look it up on Pokedex you must have the Pokemon caught to see the EV yield.
It is always up to the trainer to decide which effort points they want.
A Pokemons max Effort Value is 252 in a single stat.
You can make a maximum of 2 stats 252 Effort points.
However, a Pokemons max Effort Value points are "510"
It takes a really long time to EV train, and will possibly waste a lot of time while trying to train your Pokemon fast.
I advise you to do this last.
To restart Effort Value points you can buy EV reducing berries at the "Saffron City Mart" They each cost $1000 in-game money.
These are the berries and the stats they reduce:
Pomeg Berry - Lowers a Pokemons HP by 10 Evs.
Kelpsy Berry - Lowers a Pokemons Attack by 10 Evs.
Qualot Berry - Lowers a Pokemons Defense by 10 Evs.
Hondew Berry - Lowers a Pokemons Special Attack by 10 Evs.
Grepa Berry - Lowers a Pokemons Special Defense by 10 Evs.
Tomato Berry - Lowers a Pokemon Speed by 10 Evs.
These berries will also increase a Pokemons Happiness. (Good for the move Return)
Natures
Pokemon Natures are a very important part in beginning to train your Pokemon.
Natures are far more important than Ivs trust me, they make a bigger difference.
To see what the natures do on your Pokemon you can just hover over the Nature on your Pokemon Summary.
"Right Click Pokemon > Hover Over Nature"
However, if you don't know how to do that I will still list all the natures and what they do below.
Hope that chart is easy to understand, would have took to long for me to type it all.
Hopefully before you started to level your Pokemon you read everything above first!
You need to make sure you have a good enough Pokemon to train before you just start training it.
Im not saying it has to be perfect 6*31 Natured Ev trained. However, you do want to make sure it is a decent Pokemon.
If you are interested in competetive battling and creative the perfect Pokemon for battling you can check This Guide.
The guide I linked above will show you how to make the perfect competetive Pokemon. If you are planning on CatchMMO,
and training a Pokemon just for fun. I would advise you to at least, check the Nature and make sure the IVs are Okay.
When Should I Stop Leveling?
This question is mostly asked by new gamers to Pokemmo. Well it's simple to answer.
If you are interested in entering tournaments, make sure your Pokemon is EV trained and at least level 50.
All tournament mode battle reduce Pokemon levels to"50" so their will be no need to waste your time reaching level 100.
However, if your looking to finish the story, collect battle points, impress your friends, than I would advise you to train your Pokemon
to Level 100.
Note: "All Pokemon in the Trainer Tower are scaled to the level of the highest level Pokemon in your party"
Note: "All Pokemon are set to level 50 in tournament mode"
Note: "EV training is the most important and does take a lot of time"
Note: "You can Buy Ev Points at Celadon Mart 5th floor, with steroids(Carbos,HP UP, zinc, etc.)"
Note: "You Can Buy The Amnesia Brace In The Gift Shop To Make your ev experience more fun, or easier, cost 1500RP"
Best Place To Level Fast?
We have finally reached the last section.
Hopefully you read over all the information above before you start leveling fast.
Their are many ways to level fast, you can use the E4, Islands, Day Care, and Kanto Vs.Seeker.
This is the sequence on leveling your Pokemon.
To start off leveling you will need to do an elite 4 sweep.
The Pokemon you are training must be holding an Exp.Share to gain exp after every battle.
Let me put these steps in order:
Step 1: Go to the Elite four and win while using exp.share on your training Pokemon.
Step 2: While the Elite 4 is on Cooldown, go to islands 5-7 and use the Vs.Seeker and re-battle all the trainers.
Step 3: After you are finished the islands go back to the elite 4 after cooldown and re do it.
Step 4: While Elite 4 is on cooldown again, put your Pokemon in the daycare, he will receive 60% of the exp that is received after every battle.
This is when you use the Vs.Seeker versus as much trainers as you can in the Kanto Region.
If you do not have the Exp.Share than You can check the bottom for links to the item guide.
Note: "The Lucky Egg is optional, as it is very rare and very expensive. I would advise you to buy one if you interested and not search,
Chanseys have a 5% encounter rate and a 5% chance of holding the Lucky Egg, please do not waste your time searching."
I hope this guide has helped you train up your Pokemon if you need help on where to obtain these items, just check below!

More Explained Ev training and Iv guide for further information
Additional Information:
1. Vs.Seeker Cooldown is 6 hours.
2. E4 Cooldown is 30 Minutes.
3. You cannot use Vs.Seeker in Hoenn Region.
4. Lucky Egg is optional, and I would advise you to buy one instead of searching.
5. If you need money to breed use a persian with payday and amulet coin, while Vs.Seeker Run.
6. This guide can also help pros in a way, just depends.
7. Hope you Enjoy~

GoldenSunIsaac's Youtube Thread
Hey guys, welcome to my Youtube Thread! I figured since I've finished school for the year, and work has been slowing down I'll take some time and make a return on PokeMMO. It's been a while since i've been active or even playing, but i'm planning on coming back as a regular. With that being said, I'll be making some Youtube Content every now and then trying to upload every event I spectate or participate in. I'm also doing this to work on my video editing skills just for the fun of it! I won't be doing commentary unless i'm making a video with a friend or my brother for now I'll just be capturing Official/Unofficial events!
This is my first video uploaded regarding PokeMMO, with yesterdays funny catching event "A Sneaky Kitty". The goal was to catch the best Purrloin / Lilipup... -__-
I got tired of seeing those puppies honestly lmao. Hope you guys enjoy the little vid \o/

GoldenSunIsaac got a reaction from pikabuuh in PokeMMO G.T.L Guide | Old Trade Chat Guide | Trading In-Game
NEW STYLE
Hello PokeMMO Community!
This is the guide on how to use the "Global Trade Link" in PokeMMO. This guide will mainly explain how to sell, trade, and buy things on the GTL. This guide will not be as advanced as the Trade Chat guide, mainly because the GTL is a new function and is very easy to use. This guide will mainly be about tips, and skills on how to get your stuff sold.
------------------------------------------------------
GTL Pokemon Listings
GTL Pokemon Listings, is the first tab in the GTL. This tab shows all the Pokemon that are up for trade in the GTL. It is very easy to navigate, and you can look up whichever Pokemon you desire. Every player prices Pokemon differently, some are overpriced, some are underpriced. Either way, it's not difficult to navigate the Pokemon Listings. Therefore, we will be moving on to the "Advanced Search" Option in GTL.

GTL Pokemon Listings (Advanced Search)
GTL Pokemon Listings comes with an Advanced Search option. You are able to look up a specific Pokemon, by; Nature, Level, IVs, Egg Group, Gender, etc. You can even look up if a Pokemon is shiny, which I feel is a great option. *Claps For Devs*. This is a very easy function to use, and pretty much takes common sense to use and figure out. For those who do not know what IVs are, IVs are basically inherited in a Pokemon. They can be bred to specific IVs you want with braces, and parent Pokemon.
You have an option to look up the Min IVs of a Pokemon and the Max IVs of a Pokemon. Usually my advise, if your looking for a comp, I would put HP, DEF, SPDEF, and SPEED all at MIN 25, So you make sure you get a decent comp. It really depends on the Pokemon you are searching, but I feel it's good to keep a balance of IVs.
There is even a tab in the top right corner that says "NEWEST" that can be switched to: OLDEST, LOWEST PRICE, HIGHEST PRICE. It is a great function, and could really help with your searches. When I'm looking for a Pokemon, I usually go from Lowest to highest. To make sure I don't get ripped off.

GTL Item Listings
The Item Listings tab, is the second tab in GTL. It shows all the items that are put up for trade by users. It will show: Vanity Items, Story Items, Shards, even trade-able Makeover kits and name-change tickets! It is very easy to navigate, it's basically like the Pokemon Listings. You can search any item you want, and you can also Refresh to check for the newest items Up!

GTL Your Listings
This is the final GTL Tab. It shows everything that you have listed, and put up for trade. You can put up any Pokemon and any item, as long as it is trade-able! It is easy to navigate this from your PC, so you can claim your items after they have been sold. You CANNOT claim your items after they have been sold from the GTL Icon in the bottom right of your screen. You must go to the PC.

[/Spoiler]
Everything above is just brief summaries of the GTL. To help users understand more, that is just a small part of this guide. The main Guide begins now! I will now give out some of my methods of selling and buying, tips, info, and best ways to sell your things.
Pricing Your Pokemon, & Items
Pricing your Pokemon & Items properly is what will attract people to buy your stuff. When it comes to items, most people will just buy the cheapest one they are looking for. For example, if I am looking for a Black Overcoat, and I see 2 of them up in GTL. Overcoat 1 is 280k and Overcoat 2 is 200k. I will obviously buy the cheapest one. When your trying to sell items, its best you check other peoples pricing, and go slightly below everyone else, so your items can actually sell. Instead of overpricing and letting others sell there items.
Some items I feel are a bit to under-priced, and I would advise you wait until the cheapest is sold, to now take the opportunity and make your item slightly cheaper then the rest.
When it comes to Pokemon, you can be more skillful at pricing. If you see nobody has a Competitive Modest Magneton in the GTL. You can put one up and price it for however much you want, and it will get sold eventually. Make sure anything you sell is unique when it comes to Pokemon, do NOT try to sell a 3*30 for 1.2M, when others are selling 4*31 for 800k. Make sure you always check others pricing.
Refresh Spam
As I do this myself, I am not sure how many other users do this as well. But for me I find the item that sells the most, and I keep spamming the refresh button, to see if I can buy it for a really cheap price and sell it for more. If I could think of a name for this skill, I would name it "Rapid Buying". It is highly skillful, as you can always look out for nubs to sell their Items/Pokemon under-priced. I usually do this in the Shiny tab, to see if anyone could put up a shiny Charmander for 200k :3.
This skill takes patience, so you have to really wait a while to get what you want for a cheap price.
What Not To Do
Okay, so I got a little story to tell :3 #StoryTime. Today I was looking in the GTL, and was checking all of the cheapest things in GTL in general. I found that a lot of people were selling Nuggets for 5k and Big Pearls for 5k, and star pieces for 4k. This makes no sense!! Considering, you can sell these items in regular marts for this price. Also to prevent good things being taken from you, do not under price certain things for quick money.
Example: "Man I need a quick 150k, lemme just sell my Black Overcoat for 150k in GTL!" <------ Do not do that!! You will lose a lot of profit from not having patience, and it's just not a good idea..
Reminders & Conclusion
As a reminder, remember to Claim your items that have been sold in your PC. And also, every item that you buy is mailed to you, and you obtain mail from the PC mail system. No item is given directly to you, once it is bought. This guide was mainly just brief info on the GTL, and could come in handy for new users, and experienced users. I feel this guide was needed, a lot of my friends where asking me: "Where did the ____ go? I don't see it in my bag and I just bought it?" So I got a bit annoyed, and decided to make a full guide on the GTL.
Like many users, the GTL was easy to navigate for me, and I found it pretty easy to use, and discover everything about it within an hour. Have fun on the GTL Guys! And thank you devs for this great addition to the game!

It's 2019 we still have no Sword, Sheath, Shield, or Bow as a back item.
Also a Blastoise shell / Koopa shell as a back item would be nice
Riding mounts would be cool just throwing that one out there
Let's make it happen Shade
I'll make a picture of reference later

Personally the idea doesn't sound too bad, not sure about randomized items though. I'd think it would work best if there were set items based on how many times you've logged in consecutively. So players don't feel unfair by RNG of certain items popping up after only logging in once or twice in a month.

Personally the idea doesn't sound too bad, not sure about randomized items though. I'd think it would work best if there were set items based on how many times you've logged in consecutively. So players don't feel unfair by RNG of certain items popping up after only logging in once or twice in a month.

GoldenSunIsaac got a reaction from Dibz in Hatching shinies
Could have been the best shiny advice i've read to be honest

GoldenSunIsaac reacted to Matoka in Hatching shinies
Worth noting, while you cannot see it whether an egg will be shiny shiny is determined when it is given to you, NOT when it hatches.
So if you wanted to use Donator Status and/or Shiny Charm to increase your odds you would want them active when you generate the eggs, not when they hatch.
So if you have oodles of PC boxes of things you could pop donator status + shiny charm and for the next hour turn everything into eggs and pop them into your PC without hatching, then after it runs out you go to hatching them with flame body etc, this would technically be the most optimal way to do it in theory.
Good luck!
