  1. The match between Beedrilled and Kangaskhan's Golden Horde ended in a tie, so the bet was void @Azphiel and @drewq have both been sent their money back - thank you for choosing me as the middleman.
  2. @Toxicz has been added to the blacklist for not paying the following bets to @DrakeHope for over 1 week. The fact that TheDH paid you for the bets he lost makes this look even bad on you - anyway if you make any future bets I will encourage players not to pay you.
  3. I'll be middleman - if you can both mail the money I'll confirm the bet @drewq
  4. Team Scrimmages - 2023 LOST - January 2023 Lo - January 2023 ENIX - February 2023 SLSY - February 2023 LAVA - March 2023 VOW - May 2023 RMW - May 2023

  8. Basically for years people have been asking for the Johto region, and now that it's finally going to be implemented this year, people are starting to ask about the newer regions (e.g. Alola/Kalos) Realistically this won't be added for a few years at least, if not ever due to the graphics etc.
  9. I was wondering when the first person would start suggesting this
  10. He didn't initially pay after making the bet in Vermilion. I appreciate the fact he ended up paying, but you should only really do this if you intend on paying the person straight away (I see forum bets differently as it's more organised). That's fair enough I was only going by what I was told. At the end of the day, I know I'm having a tough stance on this, but this is the easiest way to scam people through bets, and I know this will happen often in the coming weeks so wanted to clear things up beforehand.
  11. I'll update the main post with this as well, but thought I should clarify about spontaneous bets (defined as 5-10 minutes before the match starts in Vermilion) since this has happened a few times and it's only been week one (won't disclose who yet): Making the bet Please only propose the bet if you actually have the money (I mean this is common sense?) Accepting the bet Make sure you whisper the person and that they acknowledge you accepting the bet (ideally including the amount in the main channel) - this makes evidence easier to identify when sending me screenshots. If you are accepting high bets (e.g. 1m), I would recommend using a middleman (it doesn't necessarily have to be someone in this list) but of course you choose this at your own risk. Paying the bets Players who owe 300k or under will be given 24 hours before being added to the blacklist. Players who owe more than 300k will be given 48 hours before being added to the blacklist. *Exceptions being if you're away for a few days etc... As I did with WarwitoX, I'm more than happy to publicly name and shame players and will emphasise if blacklisted players are owed money for future bets that they should not be paid until they pay what they owe themselves. For the record, WarwitoX did pay but only because he was pressured by his teammates/leader to do so and will remain blacklisted for this reason. I know people love making spontaneous bets, but there's a betting thread for a reason. At the end of the day it's your decision and I won't be moderating everyone who didn't pay. Hope this clarifies things, looking forward to new hashtags if not.
  12. Such a huge improvement in the last few years regarding PvP, and to win Team of the Year 2022 is a huge accomplishment. This follows our first Team Tournament win as a team and four finals overall. I'm so proud of everyone and it shows that hard work and dedication pay off ❤️
  13. WarwitoX has been added to the blacklist for not paying his bet to Onraider. If you make a future bet with this player and owe him money, I will advise not paying him - you will not be added to the blacklist. WarwitoX ha sido añadido a la lista negra por no pagar su apuesta a Onraider. Si hace una apuesta futura con este jugador y le debe dinero, le aconsejaré que no le pague; no se le agregará a la lista negra.

  15. Received - thanks. @PoseidonWrath Received. Good luck both!
  16. Welcome to the PSL Betting Thread Relevant links: Bracket (regular season) Week 1 Rules: PLEASE READ BEFORE TAKING OR MAKING BETS - Tied matches are void (does not include matches with tie-breakers) - Unplayed matches are void* - All activity win bets are void* - Matches that have been changed due to subbed players are void - Bets over 500k may be mailed to a trusted middleman if any one of the two players feels its necessary - Bets must be posted before the matches are played - No betting against yourself (you can bet for yourself to win) - Bets with a player who has been banned are void unless/until that player is unbanned* - No new bets until old betting debts are cleared - Players that do not comply with these rules will be added to a BLACK LIST - Once you take a bet you may NOT retract that bet for whatever reason - The only way you can have a bet retracted is if BOTH players agree on retracting the bet - When making bets that go throughout the whole season, please be cautious and make sure you have what you bet by the end of the season NEW - Spontaneous bets (defined as 5-10 minutes before the match starts in Vermilion City) Since this has happened a few times and it's only been week one I thought it would be best to clarify what happens in this situation. It is up to others if they wish to follow this same principle when hosting future betting threads for upcoming tournaments. Making the bet Please only propose the bet if you actually have the money (I mean this is common sense?) Accepting the bet Make sure you whisper the person and that they acknowledge you accepting the bet (ideally including the amount in the main channel) - this makes evidence easier to identify when sending me screenshots. At the end of the day it's your decision and I won't be moderating everyone who didn't pay. - We are not keeping up with everyone's bets so its your job to keep track of your bets and who wins what *This rule does not apply when betting on teams Disclaimer: Take each bet with risk! Although unlikely, it is possible you can get scammed and I won't be held responsible to pay unpaid debts. Though players that do not comply will be added to BLACK LIST and all players will be warned when betting with those players. Players can bet with players on the blacklist however the blacklist is only there to warn them. How to Bet: When you are betting, provide the following info: 1. Your IGN 2. What match(es) and which player(s) you are betting on 3. What are you wagering Trusted Middlemans: Blacklist: This starts with a clean list, if you know someone has a dodgy history make that risk yourself.
  17. I can't be bothered to make a bug report so I'll post it here. When playing in a battle you can't see the following and it's really confusing: Hazards (e.g. Stealth rocks and spikes) Weather (e.g. Sand) This was spotted in the ongoing UU tournament - could this be resolved as it's hard to notice which hazards are on the field? Visual example:
  18. I'll happily announce that I voted no - here are my reasons: Unless this is your first event, the same things happen every single year (the only change will probably be you can receive a Shiny Christmas Bobble Hat or whatever it's called) So many people expect the event to release as soon as possible, and then are the first to complain about any bugs which occur due to releasing early The 10 year anniversary event showed that when the Devs provided information everyone complained People wanting to grind on Christmas Day have already proven they need to touch grass People can access this information from previous changelogs, the only changes which may possibly happen is moveset additions and new HAs - the vanity items have been an extremely poor investment as well so if that's your reason for getting excited then cross that off your list. For Johto releasing, I'm pretty sure people will be complaining about the storyline, features not being implemented, dungeons not releasing or something completely trivial. Happy to be a grinch.
  19. Great marketing/PR exercise Hope the raffle goes well
  20. 这是一个非常酷的赛事,祝大家参赛好运 是否有官方的 Discord 可以让我跟踪比赛?
  21. Event season is the most amusing time to be on the forums just for these reasons alone.
