  1. The guide has been updated to include seed recipes for the new berries, as well as pokeblock recipes for plus blocks using them.
  2. No, pickup only works on the pokemon you have as your lead. Also, I have some items from Unova I don't see listed above: Route 10 Silk Scarf Blackglasses Super Repel Great Ball Tinymushroom Energypowder Heal Powder Black Belt Route 11 (Surfing) Green Shard Village Bridge Rare Candy Ultra Ball Repeat Ball Mystic Water Blackglasses Giant Chasm (Cave) Super Potion Nest Ball Energy Root Quick Claw Giant Chasm (Grass) Everstone
  3. Roost and Drain Punch are at the battle frontier; they are tutored by the pair of old ladies in the northwest corner of the island (by the battle dome). They require battle points to teach these moves, however. This is the building they're in at the battle frontier (you can see the battle dome at the top right). The one on the right teaches Roost... ...and the left one teaches Drain Punch. Both moves cost 10,000 BP.
  4. Yeah it seems as though the enigma berry recipe now just produces a babiri, which is typical when you overflavor a berry recipe without it becoming a different berry recipe altogether. Whether this is intentional or not (I'm leaning towards not), it seems as though we'll have to use already grown berries for the nonce.

    I'd pay 5.25m for that
  6. I'd do it for 1.4M; ball, egg moves and your OT* (if you care) all included, could do EVs and moves for you too if you want
  7. I couldn't find any sort of guide on the subject of berry blending, so I decided to make one. First and foremost, pokeblocks are used to adjust the contest stats of a pokemon. The contest stats help you in, you guessed in, Contests. The Beauty contest stat is also involved in the evolution of Feebas into Milotic (specifically, Feebas evolves when leveled up once while it has a Beauty stat at 67% or higher). Thus, any prospective Contest participant or Milotic owner should seek to get familiar with how pokeblocks are made. To blend pokeblocks, you must head to the Contest Hall in Lilycove City and interact with one of the gray machines on the right. (Be sure to get a Pokeblock Case from the front desk at the hall if you don't have one already.) The blending process entails mixing together 2, 3, or 4 berries in order to make a pokeblock. The resulting pokeblock can be one of thirteen different types; the type of pokeblock created depends on the flavor value of each berry used, with the exception of one pokeblock type (black). The flavor value of a berry is found simply by finding the lowest possible amount of each flavor it takes to grow the berry, taking into account that a Very Flavorful Seed has twice the potency of a Plain Flavorful Seed; for example, Kelpsy berries can be produced using a Plain Dry Seed (with a dry value of 1), a Very Dry Seed (which has a dry value of 2), and a Very Sour Seed (having a sour value of 2), but the minimum flavor combination that can be used requires a Plain Sour Seed (sour value of 1) along with a Plain Dry Seed and a Very Dry Seed, so the minimum seed requirement, and therefore the flavor value, for a Kelpsy Berry is the sum of all the seeds' flavors used in its minimal recipe: 3 dry, 1 sour. A possible seed combination for growing Kelpsy berries, but this is not the lowest possible flavor combination required; Kelpsy berries require only 1 sour value, which can be achieved with a Plain Sour Seed instead of a Very Sour Seed. The actual lowest possible flavor combination needed to grow Kelpsy berries. The Very Dry Seed cannot be reduced to a Plain Dry Seed, and Kelpsy berries need at least 3 dry values and 1 sour value. In order to check a berry's flavor value, the lowest flavor seed recipe is required; flavor lists on a berry's description can be used to determine any Plain Flavorful Seeds used, but the tag of "Very [Flavor]" is ambiguous. The four above flavor tags describe dry value requirements in ascending order; Persim berries have a description of "Dry" for its seed requirements (along with "Spicy" and "Sweet"), meaning that the flavor value for each berry includes 1 and only 1 dry value. However, Lum, Chesto, and Wiki berries all include the term "Very Dry" in their descriptions; Lum berries have a Dry value of 2 in their flavor value (along with a Spicy value of 2 and a Sweet value of 2), Chesto berries have 3 dry values for a flavor value, and Wiki berries have 4 dry values. These can all be determined by what seeds can be used to grow each type of berry; the tags are unreliable here. Below are lists of flavor values for berries pertaining to each specific flavor, sorted by the value of the flavor and then alphabetically. Berries with multiple different flavors are found on every applicable flavor list. Since these are the minimum seed requirements for each berry, these recipes can be used to produce berries with no wasted seeds. Flavor Values for berries with Spicy character: Flavor Values for berries with Dry character: *Combinations including any number of Enigma berries disregard flavor values of all berries involved and thereby render the flavor value of Enigma berries irrelevant. Flavor Values for berries with Sweet character: Flavor Values for berries with Bitter character: Flavor Values for berries with Sour character: When growing berries, for pokeblock creation or otherwise, the flavor value recipe is recommended so as to not waste any unnecessary seeds when planting. When creating a pokeblock, the values listed in the flavor values of all berries used are added together for each, and the resulting pokeblock is based off of the sum for each individual flavor. The only case in which flavor values are disregarded is when an Enigma berry is used as one or more of the mixing components, where the resulting pokeblock is always black. Thus, when adding flavor totals for all the flavor values of the berries involved, the pokeblocks will result in the color shown below when the accompanying flavor values are achieved. Their effects are listed below the flavor value combination requirements as well. Specific recipes are displayed for each pokeblock type, with "Z" signifying that any berry can be used and "X" signifying that any berry aside from an Enigma berry can be used.
