Berry Forest's hero Oh, what a summer, this summer of ‘19, I still remember it like it was yesterday. It was such a warm period, every day felt like a day on Stark Mountain. All I could think of was relaxing in the shadow and having a coconut drink. As I was spending my summer in the Kanto region, I travelled to Berry Forest to find me some shadow, berries and coconut drink. Once I arrived there, I found the perfect place of shadow next to a tree that seemed to contain coconuts, to be more specific I saw three coconuts hanging there. They were just a bit too high to reach, but luckily I had a pokemon with me that was able to headbutt the tree, so I summoned this pokemon and asked it to headbutt the tree for me. Oh what a bad move was this… Suddenly the tree started shooting seeds at us and so surprised as we were, we backed up as fast as we could and then we saw how the tree stood up on its legs, how amazing! I realized this had to be a Pokemon so I took my Pokedex and looked it up. I found this Pokemon that was described as “The Walking Jungle” and this was it, I was sure, it was an Exeggutor. Immediately I started to apologize and told him I thought he was a tree with coconuts. At this moment the Exeggutor started to laugh so hard and it was so contagious that I started to laugh too. After this the Exeggutor decided to spend the afternoon with me and showed me the nicest place to relax in the forest. It was a pond next to some trees, and yes it were real trees this time. So we just relaxed there next to the water and when I got thirsty he would use the move “Bestow” to give me some berry juice. It was so relaxing that I fell asleep after a few minutes. That was till I heard it, I heard sounds of a fight going on. When I woke up I saw Exeggutor being attacked by a Snorlax. Yes, back in those days the forest still had a problem of wild and hungry Snorlaxes. If you go to the Berry Forest you’ll still see the signs warning you for wild, berry-loving Pokemon, now you know why! I couldn’t let this happen, this Exeggutor became my friend and I had to help it! The Snorlax was so big and because of that I realised we had to use this against him. I told the Exeggutor to use grass to make the Snorlax trip. This move was called Grass Knot and because the Snorlax was so big, he really felt the fall. But still he wouldn’t give up and continued attacking Exeggutor. We had to go for a more drastic move, so I told Exeggutor to kick the Snorlax low to make it fall again. So the Exeggutor used Low Kick and the Snorlax fell again. Snorlax stood up another time, looked at Exeggutor and realised he had no chance. That day this Snorlax and all the others left Berry Forest. I heard they went to Cerulean Cave to try to steal mushrooms from Parasects. Exeggutor became the hero of Berry Forest and all other Pokemon in the forest were so grateful and gave their new hero the nickname “Snorlexeggutor”. After this, a deep bond between Exeggutor and me was created and he never left my side again. We became an inseparable team and every weekend we still go to visit Berry Forest where he always gets welcomed like a true hero. Are the upcoming newly planned LC tournaments still going to stay with 32 places?

Why not just change the small brackets in bigger brackets? I think there are less people not liking to play an extra round than there are people being left out of tournaments because of not clicking fast enough, so that seems to be an improvement. Maybe something between can also solve something, make the bracket bigger and if this causes empty spots in first round, give the free first round to the people being ranked higher? Also I'd like to add an idea to the ranking system if it would ever been implemented: everyone joining a tournament and failing to join a round (for example win round 1 and then just leave and not playing round 2) or forfeiting a game should get some penalty because it's ridiculous that people would join to leave later on while other people couldn't even join.

I understand it's like this yes, if you use multi target moves you can accomplish things to lessen the battle length, but with a combination of the gym-leaders having balloons (to avoid EQ), abilities (to avoid surf, muddy water, fire attacks...) and so on it's not always that easy in my opinion. But even the level of being hard or easy is not entirely the reason i think my #2 is something that should be talked about. As players have to pay for consumed items, i think it should also "cost" something for the gym leaders, but as they are NPC's, they don't own money, so i think the solution could be giving the opponent some extra money as reward (or making it not possible to be used like i suggested). As it was not that important before the amulet coin-update because, I didn't suggest it before but now the time of amulet coin is running it starts being a double disadvantage that's not totally fair in my opinion.

When I do gym runs with amulet coins there are two things that take time that reduce the worth of my amulet coin and that in my opinion should not. 1) Gym puzzles, and for that i agree with there should be a puzzle skip after completing it once, but because that's already being suggested in following topic, it shouldn't be discussed here but all readers that want to discuss it, can obviously do this in mentioned topic. 2) Items that are being used by the gym leaders take time from my amulet coin. Every item (that is consumed) is an amount of "pokeyen" (it's not really pokeyen because they are NPC's) that is being invested in making a battle take longer, which by consequence make the gains of my amulet coin less. Because of that i suggest that we get the sell-price of each used item by the gym leader added to the amount of money they would normally give or i suggest to disable the function of the use of consumable items by a gym leader. I am mostly talking about consumable items used in battle (full restores), but by extension i also think that consumable given items should be talked about, with focus sash being the most important one.

i was wondering if it also has been considered to bring back murkrow? Perhaps people would use less misdreavus and mienfoo when there is a good pokemon to counter them... Also it has access to sucker punch to attack ss clamperl. By adding a murkrow, people might be less likely to use misdreavus and mienfoo because of murkrow's strenghts and you don't want a lot of pokemon being weak to 1 pokemon. The other question then will be if murkrow won't be used too much. As it was apparently fine to use test-ban for diglett, we could try a test-unban for murkrow to see if this is the case. As what i believe: i think stealth rock will limit the use of murkrow.
