This guide is a spiritual successor of the 2015 guide with the same name, made with the help of @squickGiannoamazing pokedex page


The goal of this guide of to show where and how to get breeders for any egg group in the most efficient way possible, providing at least 1 location with 100% encounter rate for pokemon in that egg group (if possible)


RECOMMENDED POKEMON FOR BREEDER CATCHING

I use Delcatty for breeder catching, along with a smeargle with its only move being false swipe which are NOT necessary but they are very nice to have for this

Spoiler

A female Delcatty with cute charm will give us 75% chance of encountering a male pokemon (if their gender ratio is 50/50) so for our purpose its extremely useful!
You use assist to false swipe the pokemon and use thunder wave to paralize it(if needed), wide lens gives it 100% accuracy (its technically 99.999999...% because this game is made with wet paper, duck tape and lots of love <3, so it can fail sometimes) and payday is for getting some extra money off of the pokemon you don't want to catch, most of the time the females you encounter

foresight solves the problem of catching ghost pokemon
You need to fill the other slots of your party with dittos (you can't assist transform) or smeargle/any other pokemon only with moves that can't be assisted, other than false swipe, here is the list of moves that can't be assisted.

El objetivo de esta guía es mostrar donde y como capturar cualquier macho para crianza, a los cuales llamare "Breeders", de la forma mas eficiente posible dando al menos 1 lugar con 100% de probabilidad de encuentro de pokemon de ese grupo de huevo (si es posible)

POKEMON RECOMENDADOS PARA CAZAR BREEDERS

Yo uso Delcatty y un smeargle con su unico movimiento siento falso tortazo, estos pokemon NO son necesarios pero seran muy utiles

Usar una Delcatty hembra con gran encanto nos dara 75% de probabilidad de que los pokemon que encontramos sean machos (si su ratio de genero base es 50/50) asi que para esto es extremadamente util. Se usa asistencia (ayuda) para asistir el falso tortazo que tiene nuestro smeargle y usamos onda trueno para paralizar al pokemon (si es necesario), el item de la lupa nos da 100% de precision en ese movimiento (tecnicamente es 99.999999....% por que este juego esta hecho con papel mojado, cinta y mucho amor <3, asi que puede fallar aveces)
Dia de pago es para conseguir algo de dinero extra en pokemon que no queremos capturar, normalmente las hembras

Y vision resuelve el problema de no poder darle a pokemon fantasma con falso tortazo

Necesitas llenar el resto de los espacios de tu equipo con dittos o cualquier pokemon SOLO con movimientos que no puedan ser asistidos, aqui esta la lista en ingles

para las dos siguientes zonas vas a necesitar usar vision en tu delcatty, empapar en tu smeargle cazador O un pokemon (preferiblemente que aguante mucho daño) con truco y cualquier moviminento de daño, preferiblemente con muchos usos, le pones cinta focus, usas truco para darsela a el pokemon que quieres capturar, le pegas, queda 1hp y lo capturas, la cinta focus no se consume en este caso, por ejemplo:

Sneasel (puede ser remplazado por un smeargle si asi se quiere) con 2x31 IV en ataque y velocidad con naturaleza +ataque, con falso tortazo, asistencia(ayuda) (MOVIMIENTO HUEVO, CLICK AQUI PARA VER COMO CONSEGUIRLO) y psico corte, ningun otro movimiento
Y un pokemon con espora y cualquier otro movimiento que no pueda ser asistido (aqui esta la lista en ingles), puede ser un smeargle, un parasect o cualquier pokemon que aprenda espora y no tenga NINGUN OTRO MOVIMIENTO QUE PUEDA SER ASISTIDO
solo se pueden tener en tu equipo a sneasel(o su remplazo como smeargle), a el pokemon con espora y dittos, NADA MAS

como capturar: falso tortazo>asistir>ocaso ball, si pasa de el turno 6 usa turno ball

Hi Lorewaifu, I wanted to add that now Slowpoke also appears as 100% in the water in Slowpoke Well.

 

Groups are Monster and Water 1, which is different from Whismur and has the same catch rate. Levels are 20-25.

It can have Confusion and Water Pulse (also Disable) so I guess Own Tempo Smeargle is better here? I would just Falseswipe and throw balls, but worth saying I guess.

 

In the spanish section you put Paras instead of Hoppip for Fairy group btw.

Hello, this guide is really nice! I would like to add the location Old Chateau from Sinnoh. Requires HM Cut, but there's 100% Gastly encounters (Lv. 15 - 17).

 

Catch rate:

• 79% @ 1HP with Pokeball
• 100% @ 1HP Paralyzed/Sleep with Pokeball
