Shiny Encounter System

What are the community's overall thoughts on the shiny encounter rate and how long it takes to get one? I know the devs have said they are happy with the current rate but is the community generally supportive or is it something they just accept/tolerate because they like the rest of the game? Have the devs thought of making changes in the future? And what are your thoughts on the overall shiny system.

Even tho I don't have a single OT shiny after 88k encs,  I still love the shiny rate in this game. It makes shinies feel much more cool and rare which is better suiting for an mmo.

I like the encounter rate like it is.

If it really needs a change, then make shinys even rarer.
