making the gloves color white actually white

hellooo, could we please have glove colors be their actual color
I really hate white gloves being the color grey
while in the mummy body wrap, the gloves on it are white

I second this. I never knew the gloves were that ugly gray color 😛 but the white ones would help with vanity combos for sure.

Yes, the highlights in the hair are a pure white, which makes this the lightest color in the palette, there needs to be several colors in the palette for shading, and thus anything below that is a shade of grey; which the other colors are placed on top of.

Therefore anything below a highlight in color in the white color palette is a grey for consistent coloring.

Thus the gloves are slightly grey.

 

The only way around this is to use a different palette when white is selected, which is not a function that currently exists.

Makes sense, many other items seem to be using the highlight colour for other purposes as well. The beanie for example has it for the Pokeball, if it were added as base colour a "white" beanie would merge awkwardly with the pokeball, making it invisible.

Maybe try asking for a variety of gloves uncolourable, only white, that uses the highlight as the main colour in this thread @Emilyeee 
It may be possible, since we already have stuff like the White Cat Ears that use white as the base colour.
