BUGS:

The sea has no animation, some borders are missing, some seasonal tones may not be exact

caves and other interiors are not changed
However, even with these errors, this must be the best working graphics patch for pokemmo

To install you need:

- download Lunar IPS

- download this graphic patch

- Need a clean (unpatched) legal Fire Red ROM (USA)

 

How to install:

 - Open Lunar IPS

- Select the .ips patch

- Apply to the clean Fire Red ROM

Trying it right before, and honestly didn't notice the water being stuck apart from waterfalls
There are some tilesets out of place but just in the Vermilion's port, so it's like finding a fish into an ocean
It's by far the best IPS patch I've ever tried in PokéMMO until today
Cannot wait for the day we'll be able to use shaders/filters as we can do now on Desmume just to remove some pixelization 🙂

It works excellent, leaving aside the couple of visible details, it is the best patch for Fire Red, a couple of screenshots I took in my game when I tested it

You're probably using a non-english rom
As far as I've got, it only works with USA roms unfortunately 😞
Me too tried to use  it on my italian rom, and sent the same error
