Why can't you chance the prize? Can you at least consider it? Many players are complaining about it, so why not do anything about it? As a doubles competitive player I find this really unfair as I look to all singles tournaments prizes...

I don't want to pull the robotic response or the "because I said so" card, but, looks like I'm going to have to. Once an official tournament becomes public, the prizes cannot be changed. There are no ifs ands or buts to this. It's a rule within the staff and I'm about 100% sure it's not up for discussion.

 

Trust me, if I could change the prize, I would.
