A send to all friends command would be neat though, if thats what you mean.

As Munya said, maybe better to have a "send to all friends" command instead of a whole new chat for it would be better.

if I'm not wrong I think you guys are misunderstanding. I think what he is saying is that he wants some sort of group chat so to talk with his friends. And I'm not saying team chat because what if you have friends on other teams you want to join in the chat?

 so a single chat where u can add some of your friends? like a group chat? Thats what teams and whispers are for. Still think a "msg friends" commands would be good

I imagine Friends chat from Runescape. Pretty much just makes a party chat. It can be useful if you are buddies with people across multiple teams.
