Unless there are around 50 people who would like to join it but can't because, obviously, the OU comp community is a bit larger. And all the people that boycott this event by principle but who would have loved to join a tournament on a weekend evening they don't do anything better. A series of events would make the most sense, offering players with late registration a guaranteed spot in the next one. Would make for some hype.
