Warning: It is lengthy, but half of it is real easy. Don't worry. The concept of my idea is to improve the pokedex so that you use it more than you use google. Basically, all I'm asking for is more tabs and text on it. The pokedex is often defined as a "technological wonder" and it makes people think of the iPhone from 17 years ago. Might as well make it look like it can do more. The pros for this are so it gives enough information so the user doesn't need to google or ask global chat for most of what he wants. The cons? None, other than some time consumption. Here's a list of ideas, but you can find whatever you want. If you're a dev or something, read at least the first and second list. Sorta Implementable things, that are just text pretty much: -Add the evolution method. (Level 30, thunderstone) etc. -Add the types of pokemon. Sometimes people tend to forget dual types. For now, it doesn't even have to be the type icon, just a character string that says "grass/poison" is enough. It's probably planned but it is missing nevertheless. -Add the potential abilities a pokemon can have. So you know that when you cuahgt a pokemon, it has another passive that you didn't know about that you may prefer. -Add a clock on it. That's the main reason any human takes out their iPhone. Could be both in-game and real-life time, but whatever you want. A clock is symbolic. It needs one. -Add a new tab with an index of all user commands. Because all I know is /w, /unstuck and /time and I'm certain there are many more. You probably have a text file of them, just copy/paste it onto a tab in there. Maybe implementable, don't know: -A "currently owned" color for pokemon. Like a darkish red. So there is a difference between "caught" and "caught but don't have it anymore". This way it looks way cooler when you actually own 386 pokemon in your boxes, which is my goal. If you wanna go crazy: -A search feature just like in the newer games. So you can search for a aprticular type or order by alphabetical or whatever. -Add a "seen" pokemon's location on the map (Not urgent as it's difficult but it needs done eventually.) -A new tab with a TM dex type thing. So that you know what TMs you had but used and forgot and stuff. It would have the same interface as the pokedex tab, except it'd have TMs. There's plenty that can be done with this. -A more advanced progress bar. I heard achievements were planned, they could fit in a tab in here. You know, with the completion of the pokedex or TM dex. People wouldn't have to compare "seen 42, caught 21, owned 15" all the time, they could just state "10% complete". It could give some sort of easy ranking. Suggest some more things if you like and tell me what you think. Once again, the main motivation for this is that the pokedex is underrated, when it shuold be the essence of the storyline and goal of the game. But people are just focused on EVs and battles. Remind them to fill out this thing and to whip it out as often as they whip out their iPhone! :)

I don't know if this has been suggested already, but I think it would be cool if we had a multiplayer island where everything related to multiplayer would be. This would be something that would happen after everything else for the Kanto region is sorted out. List of things on the island: - Basic things like a pokemon center and pokemart - Battle Arena - Auction House - Guild house (A place where people can go and register their guild. They would also edit their guild settings here.) - Tutorial House (This is sort of not needed and probably wouldn't be put in.) And that's all I can really think of... of course there would have to be other things as well. To get to the Multiplayer Island, you would have to have all 8 badges and then there would be a boat at Vermillion which takes you there. Please comment your ideas about this below, and I'm sorry if this has been posted about before. (I searched a few different things and didn't find anything about it.)

I'm trying to say currently, or rather before that guild tournament thread, there was no point to a guild. It was just a bunch of people together and anyone can accomplish the same thing outside of a guild. You could probably solve your problem by creating events for all members to participate in order to foster communication and friendship.

I have a deaf friend that plays, so maybe a clear visual indicator as well. And idk about you guys but, I muted the music on my first day. It got annoying as all hell, I was going insane.

For the record people, you donate because you believe in this game and you love the work the Devs have given you. Not because you're getting a reward or perk out of it. You're doing it out of the GOODNESS OF YOUR HEART (even though most people here don't seem to grasp that concept). Not because you get something in return.

when they implement more naturally held items like deepseascales/teeth and light balls, people are going to be farming those anyway right? then that increases their chances of getting TMS, it'd be a nice surprise for those who put in the time and effort, and once they implement the E4 then theres your source of infinite pokeballs, now isn't it?

It's good that they are following the original game guideline strictly. But when you port a single player game to a massive online multilayer experience, it's inevitable to not add custom stuff. In my opinion stuff like this is needed (no fake pokemons...) to make the original pokemon series a full online experience. Otherwise you might aswell play the rom offline with any emulator and open a pokemon chat in a separate window. You see what I mean? By adding a trade system, battle system, etc devs already made this a different game. Adding some key customs like guild locations, battle arena, etc (like the OP suggested) won't really make it a shitty game or trash the story.. Think of it as an improved pokemon game fully suited for multilayer interaction. A collaboration of custom maps approved by devs and community members would awesomne. I can't think of why devs could be against this idea, unless legal stuff or too hard to implement. I'm sure they have awesome ideas like this for a near future once they complete the original game scripting.

I made this, I used Googel Translate for all of it, so there's gonna be a lot of mistakes and I haven't finished all of it because it's boring work and I'd like to upload a draft of sorts to see if there's anybody who actually wants this sort of thing. Chansey only appear in level 26 right? Because if you use a level 26 first pokemon team and max repel it could be easily to appear. EDIT: Since I use max repels the rate of appearance of Chansey has greatly increased!
