  1. Again, I'll just cut to it. No fancy lingo. Trainer Tower. Enter, begin a battle in the Tier you want (50s: 4v4/6v6 ; 100s: 4v4/6v6), commence battle upstairs. When you win, you immediately face a new opponent. You continue battling until you lose. At that point you're escorted out of the floor with extreme prejudice (or teleported out, whatever). If you win a battle, you get 1 BP (Battle Point). If you win 5 battles in a row, you get an additional 4 BP (1 for winning + 4 extra for streak = 5 BP on 5th Battle). If you lose a battle, you get a cooldown of 4 hours before you can re-enter Trainer Tower. Might as well keep it "balanced" right? Randomly, you may encounter a Gym Leader or Elite 4 member or your Rival (maybe a character from a different Region, wynaut). If you beat them, you get a small chance (25%?) to be given a random TM. Otherwise they give you 5 BP. You can then redeem your BP for rare items such as Rare Candies, TMs, Customizable Items, or maybe even a Pokemon or two. Example: 50 BP - 1 Rare Candy 150 BP - TM X or X or X or X or X 250 BP - Customizable Hat 350 BP - Rare Items (Choice Band/Upgraded Bicycle/MC Hammer Pants)* * Don't go nuts over my prize cost listed. 350 BP wouldn't be that much. Just win roughly 39-40 battles in a row and you have enough.

  2. I agree with OP. I think that exp should be disabled on the island 4 daycare, and exp enabled on the Cerulean City daycare. As the system currently stands, they are already 'locking up' the player to sit around waiting for eggs, and making them walk ungodly distances to hatch--- at least let us kill stuff in the meantime without fear of overwriting moves and outleveling out of 50... If you have one dedicated to one specific action, and the other to a different one, then those that want to use the daycare just for breeding can do so, and those that just want to use the daycare for leveling can do so also. The one that gets me the most, is after walking around and hatching a party of eggs, I usually need to check the IVs (of the ones that make the cut). The trouble is, they need to be leveled up in order to do that (---as much as I like seeing a pokemon with all 31 IVs in the high range... I usually get them to level 10 then check if they are worth keeping or not). Without disabling the exp, the process would add the extra 2 or so steps of taking out the parents from daycare (which also stops egg production), and after checking IVs (if even needed...) then putting them back into daycare... I don't mind extra work, but if we are expected to breed with any type of regularity (which is what is required to get a good natured/iv/ability pokemon... an already impossible task), making it so that 'if we forget an unintuitive step we could ruin everything', then that would be pretty frustrating and sad... I think this is a good suggestion.

  10. So here is my try at the final evolution of Fennekin. I think Fennekins line will be Fire/Psychic types, so I put the purple markings to kind of represent that.   14. Many players would not like to gain experience from the daycare due to the level 50 competitive bracket. It is inconvenient that one can't hold Pokemon in the daycare and do other things at the same time such as dailies. This is especially annoying since I would often like to check the IVs of a newborn without having to remove my Pokemon from the daycare. This only targets the level 50 bracket, which is the most popular competitive bracket. If people played 100s this would not be an issue, so I doubt it was a balance decision for breeding mechanics. My proposition is that the island 4 daycare is considered exclusively for breeding and does not yield exp to the Pokemon being held there. Players can use the route 5 daycare for all levelling purposes if they would like to use it. This way, we have a breeding mechanic that better suits the needs of PokeMMO players but still honors the handheld games. EDIT: Since there does seem to be some desire for the experience gaining function of the island 4 daycare, maybe an alternative to consider is the option to disable the experience gaining feature when asking to hold the Pokemon in question.   16. Let's just cut to the chase. The twitter account "pokemmo" Is not being used a lot. It has in total made 45 tweets, all being opdate related, and ths last update that came a week ago was never even announced there. When I am gaming I always keep twitter open. I think that using the twitter account would be a nice way of communicating with us. You could tweet out stuff like official events, when they're announced and being held+winners, whenever a new user has joined the staff, and other news. How it is: The marked one shows how more tweets should/could be I don't know if this really is a suggestion, so move it to multimedia or geleral discusstion, or wherever it should be if this is wrong EDIT: I've seen that there has been suggestions about this earlier, regarding FB, but I'm rather asking for you to use it all the time, not just for updates. As I said in the intro, you could tweet stuff about events, new staff (and funny screenshots that have been sent to you by users?)

He's just flat out posting in every topic with the cliche "contradicting statements that obviously Staff will like to see me saying to get CM" bullshit. There is absolutely no reason not to implement something like this. None. "But-but-but then you can share Pokemon easier!" Good. That's one of the points to Pokemon. Trading them to be used. With the logic Munya is trying to use here we might as well just literally restrict every single aspect of this game and make it single player. You just get to see other players running around you and nothing else. No interaction. No teams. Nothing. Just play the game and then sit there like an idiot not allowed to even mention another player without fear of being banned.

    I can't really judge, but I have to say that I am impressed by how fast it turned from a bunch of outlaws to one of the most important countries right now. I just feel that they should finally open their eyes and solve their own problems before running around the entire planet playing police for other countries. They need to stop being so conservative and update a lot of outdated formulas.

  40. It is not a solution, it is a problem. You did not read the several reports of prejudiced players in this thread or just ignored. PokeMMO is a MMO and MMOs mechanics can and should change, because they adapt to the players and not the reverse. The breeding mechanics are mixed itself for a better meta game. Level up baby pokémons is part of breeding and the experience gained is more an issue than a complement. In your gameboy you probably will level up to the level 100, so the exp does not matter, but here the main tier played is 50 and a 51 pokémon is already unable to compete. "Mechanics of the game should not be changed". Well, every generation in pokémon the mechanics changes. Ironic, if you ask me.

  41. This is pretty much what I suggested a month ago, before breeding came out, but it never got done for various reasons. I agree that egg hatching mechanics need to be changed, and that we'll probably do something like this for the future.
