It does, I don't think it used to a couple years ago but it does now. When I initially changed my name, breeds used to come out as Dibz* but that only lasted like a couple weeks, now the ancient OTs just say "Dibz" when bred, so it won't come out Unknown OT if shiny

Don't be worried! I have about 93 shinies in all the normal Pokemon games combined, the rate's too easy in all the normal games :p I shiny hunt here because of odds you can't really influence, and finding a shiny here feels even better than in the normal games. The main methods of finding shinies in this game are horde encounters (the easiest option), single encounters (for pokemon you can't get in hordes; you can use the repel trick to reduce the other pokemon you'd encounter) and egg hunting (hatching hella eggs until a shiny hatches, usually done through breeding with ditto or male breeders from the same egg group). For an updated guide on Pokemon you can find in hordes, here's a guide I wrote up a while ago: For single encounters, the repel trick might help sometimes. If a pokemon is one of the highest leveled pokemon that spawns in that area, it's useful to use repel's mechanic that only repels pokemon that are at a lower level than the lead pokemon in your party (whether it's fainted or not). So if you're hunting Riolu for example, it will help. If you're hunting a rare spawn that can't be repel tricked, sometimes it's easier to move on to egg hunts. For egg hunts, you've got the same chances to breed a shiny as you do of finding one in the wild. But it happens to be a better option for Pokemon that are way too rare and can't be repel tricked, or are safari-exclusive. Here's a useful tip from Matoka if you do plan on using a Shiny Charm or a Donator Ticket (P.S. Donator status tickets also boost the time it takes for an egg to hatch but so does flame body/magma armor): Good luck to you, fellow shiny hunter. Just remember this one motto to live by: Shiny Rate is Fair!

No that's what he's got planned already, as a regular player whether he wins the elections or not. As a mayor, he'll be working on helping out and engaging every part of the playerbase, whatever they do in game and how long they've been playing for. This is what he did as part of the PvP community when everyone was dissatisfied with events, instead of adding to the complaints, he just started making fun events on his own. Now imagine that kind of dedication and hard work directed towards the community as a whole, and what he could do if he had the help of an entire team of people working in his mayoral council, because this is what he does on his own. He won't claim to have "fixed the economy" or made "player businesses boom" because it coincided with something he did, he'll be listening to players and doing his best to make sure everyone's having a great time and provide ample resources for everyone, as well as plenty to keep people engaged. If you want a mayor you can keep memeing while he takes himself way too seriously, vote BF. But if you agree that the role doesn't have to be a meme and someone who actually does stuff for the community can take over and do amazing, vote Einstein! PLUS he won't use any and everything as an excuse to go off on a tangent about his accomplishments, youtube channel or pat himself on the back! Less spam, more action! Why bother making a post on a thread directed just at yourself? It's been a year of these posts and you still fail to notice that you're literally the only one who tries to make everything about dungeons and sinnoh while literally everyone else treats you like a spambot? Literally no one is doing anything "for the sake of new content". Everyone's aware a mayor isn't staff.

He does care about the community as a whole. Read my post, it's got more details: Just because the position of mayor is a meme doesn't mean it has to be. It can actually be someone who makes a huge impact on the playerbase, both new and old. If you want that, vote Einstein!

I mean it's completely optional and it's just nice, kind of like if someone wanted to see if their own or any other specific OT was on the market. Like I'd buy Pokemon bred/caught by certain prominent/dead players and this would make that possible. It wouldn't harm the current system of searching things and buying the cheapest option, it'd just add a search option that myself and a lot of players would love to see, especially those who are active in the community or have been playing for a while.

I did some calcs this morning I'll post when I'm home but essentially, there are no good switch-ins to deal with haxorus and this would end up forcing every team to carry a haxorus and at least 3 haxorus counters. I've got calcs to support that claim too but pls keep it in OU where it belongs. It 2HKO's most of the UU meta and the two Pokemon it doesn't 2HKO can't do anything to it except use toxic on it and hope the rest of the team survives enough turns for it to die. Unless a haxorus vs haxorus speed tie. Cancerous is right

Is there anyone who'd be able to do some calcs for Haxorus in UU against any possible checks/counters? Because I can't see anything that'd survive a single dance from a Haxorus, or even a stab move with no boosts other than a life orb. I'll do some calcs if no one has by the time I'm free but I genuinely can't think of any good counters off the top of my head.

Kingdra, Starmie and other pokemon that aren't dragon or ice type will make Iris really easy. Seadra learns both Ice Beam and Dragon Pulse from leveling up, as does lapras. Starmie has a super wide movepool and the TM for Ice Beam is just 30k, that's less than 20 NPC rematches, 15 if you're lucky.

On a more serious note, now that I've read every single post in this thread, I'd like to support @ProfesorEinsteinnn in his campaign too, as well as offer to help him out if he's elected. and here's why: 1) I get that he's a very comp-oriented player and that might rub those who don't care about comp the wrong way, but here's the thing: PvP prizes are lackluster and the PvP community knows that improvements could've been made if their feedback was taken or even asked for, instead of things being left as they were ever since shiny prizes were made untradeable with meh IVs. Einstein, being from the community, took a proactive approach and decided to start hosing events to keep things fun, with worthwhile prizes. No hate for official events, my point here is that this guy's response to something that people weren't happy about was doing as much as he could to keep it fun and get his surrounding community involved. Now imagine what he'd do with a bigger circle of influence and more help. 2) I do applaud Bestfriends for making guides and working hard on them but fun fact: he's not the only one who does that. He might be quite obsessive about it as well as the multiple players he helps but we've got tons of people willing to write guides as well as help new players. Heck, if BF stops researching and making guides nothing's going to change, I'll personally put together teams of people and friends to work together to make guides, translate them, and help new players. I can have a close to 200 players attest to how much time I invest in helping players start out in this game ^_^ 3) @ProfesorEinsteinnn doesn't just care about PvP. It's not like that's all his mayoral activities will be based on. But if you look at his activity in hosting big PvP events, you'll see that this guy's willing to do a lot to host things for the community, keep things happening that are fun and interesting. This guy isn't staff, he doesn't have the powers they do, so there's only so much he can do, yet he does as much as he can and promises to listen to what everyone has to say and do his best in helping the community stay active, fun, un-afk and make it easier for newer players to get into the community. And that's because he won't be focusing entirely on making videos, he'll be making an actual mayoral council with people that focus on everything instead of pretend roles. We'll have people working on events, people listening to and documenting players' inputs, people organizing help for players, people keeping an eye on stuff like the guide tavern to see if anything's missing/needs updates, and we'll have huuuuge projects, and it'll all be a team effort. And this guy cares a lot about being an awesome mayor. 4) Change is good, Bestfriends doesn't have to be mayor to help new players or be Roy Rogers, those aren't even related, and tbh Einstein's so cool I made uwu eyes at him before I even knew who he was.
