If you take it in the traditional sense, yes, there is not player-to-player interaction, but in the context of the GTL the seller is not being ripped off by another player that sways the transaction, its being ripped off by the flawed system that is the GTL. This is due to several factors, but mainly: * Small size of the market. * Lack of written records. * Discouraging of public discussion (this can be tied to the second, but its important to state it apart). The irony. Guess what, this happens too. Market is so small that with a couple millions I can get the prices of 31 speed dittos (or everstones or whatever) to be several 1000's over the true average selling (not re-selling) price. Again, more flaws of the GTL that need to be worked on (hint hint display seller name and you will realise who is messing up with the market). [/spoiler] To sum it up, the fact that a "rip off" defined as a "bad financial transaction" can occur in the current GTL is undeniable.
