Just buy breeders off GTL. Time is money bro It does take some time to build yourself a good PvP team, but I don't find the grind outrageous if you're only going for that. Unless you're breeding 5x31 all the time. About 2h of basic grind can get you 1 comp, and 3h 1 perfect. That's reasonable since it also takes time to improve at PvP, build teams, etc. But yeah, overall this game is not friendly to those who only want to play PvP and get directly into the competitive scene. I'm not sure there's any wish from devs to change that one way or another or make it easier. The success of Randoms tier is also because of this "issue".

Messages like the one above are precisely what you want to ignore - any pokemon is fine with any spread of your choosing. Just keep in mind the simple thing : if you put EVs in it, choose 31 as IV to have it perfect, otherwise choose 30 or above to have it perfect aswell.

Just putting more emphasis on this. 30 IV on uninvested stats makes a "perfect" comp. The only downside is if you want to change the EV spreading, you won't be able to reach the max with 30 IV if you decide to invest EVs in it. You only really want 5x31 on pokemons where you invest in multiple stats for actual good reasons (stuff you calced before breeding that achieve something in particular). I see many players starting competitive sink their money on misconceptions, or on the contrary, lose some games because of misplaced "budget breeding".

1. Any guide especially dedicated to beginners should in my opinion encourage or at least include informations related to budget breeding. Even for competitive players, breeding with only 31s is unecessary most of the times and is a money sinkhole. The fact that you can overlap IVs that are fundamentally cheaper during the breeding process than 31 breeders just invalidates any attempt at making an automated tool that is actually helpful. Even with full 31 breeding, automation doesn't take into account the fact some 31s are more or less expensive and that you should prioritize overlapping the cheapest thing every time. Automation doesn't help making players understand that most of the time buying 2xIV or even 3xIV you want and skipping gender fees is the most efficient and cheapest process. If I had any recommendation for the ambition of doing a breed helper, it would be to drop the idea of an automated tool. So many things and little techniques rely on fluctuate stuff like GTL prices and possible snipes, different desired IVs combinations possible (and find the cheapest and adapt your breed to what the market offers) that you can't offer a successful "help" for new players with just maths. 2. Adding nature to the desired mon I the last step is the most simple thing people learn when they begin breeding, simply because you can roll the nature during the process and save a lot of money, or a little, and even a little is a victory for most players. A breed, if you want to save money, should always end with your female pokemon you want with whatever brace, and another with nature and one IV missing. Always do the female first, then the natured. I even recommand buying the nature breeder AFTER doing the 4xIV male you will need and pray to roll nature on this. But time is money and in the end its all about how you enjoy doing your breeds, but at least be aware of what you are doing. I haven't had time to take a deeper look and sorry if you adress any of this in the video, but again, my recommendation would be to drop the automation idea, at least until you give players the right advices, then consider building the dream tool.

Only ribbons and EVs present an informative aspect of a wanted pokemon (EVs not being necessarily THIS useful to bother implement), the rest being not QoL improvements but more delusions for people that would find value in Kyu's poop if it was possible. OT search could have an useful functionality to create some semblance of market based on reputation within the game (ex for ppl selling comps/having a specific field of business that involves their OT) but the botting/exploit risk is too big I guess. There are way more important QoL matters regarding GTL that would help everyone and not just middle school fan boys fighting over a pixel name. Please implement functionalities like multiple windows for advanced search, minimizing GTL, or interacting reducable UI first.
