So, I do have a question. The devs have been very against banning OUs permanently to Ubers because it hurts the effort and time people put into those Pokémon. But then they do decide to gut a whole tier, that effects 30+ Pokémon in a single sweep. And most LCs aren't that usable for other tiers because their IVs will usually be messed up. Yeah you could use them for breeding better stuff, but you could literally say that about Garchomp, Wobbuffet and Hydreigon. So... what gives? Why is OU being treated so differently from the rest when you can just destroy whole boxes of people their possessions?

You mean after Lyle became irrelevant heh We made an announcement in the PSL discord announce channel. Here is the copy paste: The regular season has come to an end, let's see who has dominated each tier. This seems to be the season of the newcomers, as we see how Darker (Ruthless Rotoms) waltzed through most of the competition in OU with an impressive 6-1 record. UU is the tier of the veterans, as Mlhawk (Just Blaziken It) takes the title with a 6-1 record. NU is a volatile tier, we see how players have struggled to be consistent in it. Kriliin (Just Blaziken It) has shown excellent mastery in this tier with an impressive 4-0 record. Doubles has some fearsome competition. Both newcomers Akaru (Ruthless Rotoms) and Superman (Empoleon Bonapartists) have had an amazing showing with a 6-1 record. Superman manages to sweep the title from Akaru as he managed to beat her in week 6. LC the tier of the babbies, but looks can be deceiving as the competition was fierce. But Xondex (Ruthless Rotoms) managed to stay on top with a 5-1 record. Lastly we award a prize to the breakout player of the season. Contendors for this title were Darker, AkaruKokuyo and Superman. Since Superman managed to beat Akaru the decision was between Darker and Super. This was a very close call, both have proven to be excellent players. But we think that Super had a little bit harder time competing in the Doubles tier, facing many Doubles specialists and managing to stop the streak of Akaru. So congratulations to Superman for Breakout Player of the Season! In summary Darker, Xondex, Kriliin, Mlhawk, Superman (x2) will be rewarded with 1m each. Maybe someone can make a dope signature as well?

Congratulations to both finalists. You both were on top of the regular season and made it all the way to the top. I want to thank every manager for a fun season, that made me want to pull my hair out at occasions. Many sleepless nights were spent on fixing issues that came up during the season, but in the end we made the best of it and managed to finish the season on a good note. I'm personally bummed I couldn't really watch any matches during semis and finals, as life got pretty busy all of a sudden. But alas, that is how it be sometimes. Huge thanks to Mago and Badbaar that still made it possible for me to get a piece of the action. In the end I think it was a pretty competitive season, especially week 6 and 7 were pretty hype as there were a lot of things that could still happen (and oh boy did things happen). Although the Nincadas didn't do well, I felt like their matches could always swing the other way, so their score doesn't necessarily reflect their degree of competitiveness. Then the rest of the teams always performed pretty well and the top 4 was definitely a well deserved top 4. As hosts we sure made some mistakes and wrongful assumptions, but I hope you'll have me, or Pachi, again one day. Next time back to the basics right? So all tiers DPP OU, obviously. I guess that's it for this season! If it's up to me, PSL 14 would be in the Fall of 2021, but I guess we'll see. From me you can still expect the Draft League. And then I want to host a solid competitive event for all tiers in PokeMMO. So be on the lookout for that, and send me all the money you have. Cauz I literally have none to host all this shit. For salaries and prize money please refer to the latest post I made in the Finals thread, or #announcements in the PSL Discord. See you all next time.

I'll make a longer post in the general thread soon :p Again a reminder on how to get your prizes/salaries (you aren't eligible for salary if you haven't won a game): You can get your prizemoney/salaries by either whispering Pachima ingame. OR you can mail 'pikacy' 1k with the title 'psl reward/salary'. The 1k in the mail is to cover for the mailing fee, as 'Pikacy' does not have enough funds to mail around a 100 players and it's a better way to ensure that the money goes to the right person through mail. Prizes for first place will have to wait a bit because the amount will probably be adjusted by the leftover yen from people not getting salaries or not claiming them. More on that later. Tldr: if you are an empoleon. Wait a bit with asking your prizemoney

It's a pretty hard team to pull of consistently. Very offensive I wouldn't recommend it to new players. That the player can have 80% winrate with that offensive teams just tells you how good he is.

I think I'd swap the Skarmory for a mon that can Defog a bit more reliably. Esp cauz you have Volcarona. Skarm really isn't that great of a Defog user anymore because it can't take hard fighting hits and volt switches in the tier. Something like Mandibuzz or Gliscor might be a better option. Gliscor can take advantage of the Sand from Ttar and is a good secondary fighting resistance + volt blocker. Gliscor, I like mine speedy. Maybe enough to outspeed adamamt breloom. Rest in HP, Ded Taunt/Ice Fang, EQ Roost, Defog Tyranitar. You need a rocker so that's what Ttar will have to fulfill. Max hp, max attack is a good general spread until you understand the game more and know what speed you want to hit. Outspeeding 0 speed skarm if youre packing a fire move or taunt for example. Stealth Rock / Stone Edge / Pursuit / coverage Chansey is max hp max def. Teleport, softboiled, seismic toss, shadow ball Volc max spe, max spa. I'm not a fan of the slower bulky ones. Quiver dance, fiery dance, bugg buzz, hidden power rock/psychic.
