  1. Improved formatting and added an extra note in the builds section. Added an extra bullet point in the EVs explanation
  2. Some grammar and spelling mistakes have been corrected to improve readability
  3. Good luck dude, I hope you succeed! I wish you luck similar to the shinies my past clients had!
  4. When Hoenn was released, the 3 regi dolls were released for secret base cosmetics. Releasing unique items for Johto's inauguration would be fantastic! It would be great if we could have past secret base items such as the christmas tree, regi dolls, etc., but I understand that might be out of the way in regard to Johto's theme. Something unique to Johto, that is purchasable via RP, would be fantastic
  5. Meowth's IVs are updated. After looking at calcs again, the Speed IV does not matter with Meowth. Meowth can have a 0 IV speed and still be perfectly fine
  6. Update: In situations where the iapapa berries are out/low of/in stock, the next cheapest option is to use 4 aspear berries for a Yellow PokeBlock Plus.
  7. As mentioned, I have taken on an exclusive order. I am excited to share this order with you all as it is from the the recent PSL NU tier. The Pokemon that I have taken for this order is: Pokemon Blaziken OT: Kyu IVs: 5x31 Nature: Jolly Level: 100 PREVO moves: Fire Spin, Flame Burst Gender: Male Particle: Rising Star I will post a picture when Blaziken has been finished! It will take me slightly longer than previously to complete the order due to time constraints, but i'm excited to share the completed order soon.
  8. Thanks for linking my guide @BrokenJoker! @RadiantnameI definitely recommend checking my guide above. It's rooted in many calcs and I've got great leveling strats for you for meowth. just head to the post section for meowth to read more especially in regard to ideal nature(s) and moveset
  9. Added some additional clarity to the post for the leveling strategy
  10. Thanks for your feedback! Alpha Salamence outsped you most likely because your speed wasn't fast enough. That's why I recommend a bare minimum of Jolly nature, 31 IV speed, with 236 speed EVs and then you can max out HP EVs and put the rest into Defense. I personally use the Spinda I have listed in the optimal build above and it tanks several hits and always outspeeds alphas. For every IV reduction in speed, you can raise your speed EVs by 4. This means if you choose to max EV Spinda's speed to 252, Your IV speed has to be at least 27. I guarantee you'll have a relatively strong spinda that will do very well in alphas following the optimal build. It also isn't a pokemon that is meant to stay in battle for very long given its relatively low base defense and special defense stats. Regardless, I highly recommending ensuring Spinda can outspeed with the layout I gave so you can skill swap on turn 1, stay in battle, protect if you so choose, then throw a poke ball for that guaranteed first time contrary activation and it works perfectly. Having said this, you can choose to build spinda however you like as it fits with the team you use to catch alphas. The focus sash strategy, if you don't want to breed a spinda and use a fresh one from GTL, works as well.
  11. Updated Teddiursa and Meowth's sections with their Hidden Abilities should anyone choose to include the HA in the breed
  12. Updated the EVs section to reflect two EV training options in regard to speed
  13. Information about why Teddiursa over Meowth and Munchlax has been updated. The Teddiursa leveling strategy has some slight modifications to highlight cheaper options while maximizing safety.
  14. I created an optimal alpha spinda guide and optimal cute charmer which is delcatty guide and i'll link both below. These can help with building your ideal PvE team or a set of optimal PvE pokemon. To everyone reading, an important thing to keep in mind is that if you're going to spend the yen on a breed, get the most out of it. For example, if you are planning to spend yen to purchase a Meowth for pay day farming or breed one, you might as well pay to have the correct nature. The optimal nature for meowth is brave and the next two best ones are lonely and naughty and I explained the rationale for that in the pickup guide. Adamant is a poor nature because it lowers the special attack making it harder for Meowth to utilize hyper voice to take out EV hordes. If you are spending the yen, get the full use out of the pokemon rather than knowingly spending the same amount of yen for a pokemon that lacks its full usage range. A large chunk of PvE is about being wise with yen to get the most utility which is what the guides are meant to do! Thanks for creating this kind of thread to discuss PvE builds
  15. Introduction This guide will outline the optimal Spinda for Alpha Catching. I created this build from my experience and carefully planned out the EV spread. This build has never failed me and often times exceeded my expectations. It is relatively easy to create this build especially since breeders aren't expensive. Optimal Build Pokémon: Spinda Ability: Contrary Nature: Ideally Jolly **You can use Timid if you roll nature for it and don't anticipate using any offensive moves** IVs: Ideally 4x31. in HP, Defense, Special Defense, and Speed. For more practical cost-saving purposes, 2x31 in HP and Speed and as high as you can in the other IVs. EVs: 252 HP, 22 Defense, 236 Speed Moves: Skill Swap, protect, strength, rock smash **If you have the strength and rock smash ocarinas, you can use two other moves that benefit your strategy** Egg Moves: Rapid spin, Wish, Assist, Guard Split **Optional, but I recommend them for versatility and maximizing the moveset** **If you pass egg moves to the final breed, they are re-learnable. This means you will have expanded the maximum moveset of your final breed** HM moves: Flash, Rock Smash, Strength Usage Ability explanation Nature explanation IVs explanation EVs explanation Moves explanation Related Guides/Posts
  16. Introduction The title speaks volumes. Delcatty is arguably the best cute charm in the game at the moment in terms of utility. In this guide, with the assistance of @Lorewaifu, I will be going into detail on the build, how to maximize the moveset, usage aspects, comparison against other cute charm Pokémon, etc. Pokémon: Delcatty Ability: Cute charm Nature: Neutral [Hardy, Docile, Serious, Bashful, Quirky] IVs: Ideally 6x31. For more practical cost-saving purposes, at least 3x31 with Attack, Special Attack, and Speed and as high as you can in the other IVs. EVs: 230 Attack, 200 Special Attack, 80 speed Moves: Assist, Foresight, Pay Day, Thunder Wave **Replace Foresight or Pay Day with Hyper Voice as needed and/or Covet** PREVO moves: Assist, Copycat, Foresight, Wake-Up Slap **PREVO moves are a way to obtain the move via leveling in a PREVO form. If you don't obtain the move in the previous (base) form, you can teach it via the move tutor.** Egg moves: mud bomb, simple beam, tickle, wish **Optional, but I recommend them for versatility** **If you pass egg moves to the final breed, they are re-learnable. This means you will have expanded the maximum moveset of your final breed** HM moves: Flash, Rock Smash, Strength Other useful moves: Dig [universally a good move], Headbutt [great for Johto], Secret Power [for Hoenn bases] Item: Wide Lens for 99% Thunder Wave accuracy, Choice specs for EV hordes, Choice band for pay day Usage Why Delcatty over other cute Charm Pokemon Moves explanation Selecting the PREVO moves EVs explanation Levelling Strategy All other cute charm Pokémon Related guides Other PvE Pokémon guides Credits
  17. Pretty much what the title reads. You can't use dig, an escape rope, or teleport to escape the kanto power plant so if you enter halfway for something, you have to continue running/walking towards the end or back towards the beginning.
  18. What an absolute legend of a guide #Teddiursasupremacy
