  1. And Rache has an ho oh So yeah...i wonder what else is out there...and how come the GMs and their friends can have a deeper pokedex then the rest. Not how an MMORPG should be run
  2. I know we can see Latias in the battle frontier....can you see Ho oH? Never heard of that! Can Darkrai? We're talking about an MMORPG...this is obviously a big end game goal for a lot of people...these GM's (and their friends) should not have access to free content regardless of the outstanding work they did. Until now I hadn't heard of Ho oH or Darkrai being in the game...i wonder what other mons there are...can we get a list of all legendary pokemon those GM's have?
  3. so basically since i want to "complete" my pokedex with the full OT's and seen pokemon i'll have to battle these GM's and hope they use these legendaries... Doesn't seem like a very practical way of doing things...are there any plans of adding these legendaries in the battle frontier/morimoto/gym reruns or whatever like some of the others?
  4. I read that as well but I don't think this is well thought out because it basically is telling you to restart your grind for competitive mons...
  5. great suggestion! a clear quality of life improvement and further cements the importante of pvp
  6. I've only recently started playing this game (August 2021) but I researched it quite a bit before starting. One of the things that at the time I saw as the worst feature of PokeMMO was exactly the lack of dev communication with the community and it appears to b spot on. Even though it is by far the best Pokemon MMO in the market right now with high praise from the Pokemon community the lack of dev transparency and communication is clearly what is stopping it from growing even larger. The question is..do the devs want to make it bigger? Do they have the scaling capabilities? Servers...support staff... I'm personally planning on contributing €'s on my 6 month mark and make it a regular thing as long as I keep playing this game which I really appreciate but I do hope as many of us here do that the devs get to work or at the very least communicating. As for the the original post which has gotten a bit sidetracked....definetely adding HAs would be a step in revitalizing the game or any of the other multiple suggestions...dungeons with legendaries....revitalizing PvP rewards...adding Johto... But if any of the devs are listening in....the most important thing is an open line of communication. You don't have to go all out on communication but a scheduled communication would go a LONG WAY!!! Get a community manager to liaison between the community and yourselves...this is the most important thing about a MMO game.
  7. I personally like the King of the Hill method put in place for Mewtwo, Rayquaza, Keldeo and Arceus. I would love it if they would allow us to to fly/surf/teleport with the legendary in tow so we could do "normal" play with the legendary. This would also make it so there are more "sightnings" of the legendary pokemons. I think it would be cool if they'd allow us to take for example Mewtwo into Hoenn and use it to help capture Rayquaza and so on...an awesome achievement would be to be able to capture all 4 Mythical Pokemon. As far as adding additional legendary pokemon I sure hope they are working on it, it's part of the mystic of the Pokemon World no doubt. In my opinion they should keep the rule of 1 per server...these are "Legendary" pokemon there is not 2 Zapdos and 2 Articunos in the world...so keep them 1 per server no doubt! If you want a Legendary pokemon you have to put a legendary effort into it. They could however make it different from the current existing "Mythical" level pokemon. The current ones have the rules " Mechanics Each region has a single legendary that can be found in the wild. If you catch one, it'll replace your last party slot, a notification will be sent across your region, and you'll be forced to accept any duel requests. If you lose, the winner takes the ownership, and so on. Legendaries always appear as followers and they prevent you from using Escape Rope, Fly, Teleport and switching channels or regions. Logging out or transferring it to your PC will make it run away back into the wild.", taken from The "regular legendaries" could have softer rules. Definetely keep the "Logging out or transferring it to your PC will make it run away back into the wild." seeing as there always has to be the legendary in the game. You can't just box it...or log out and staying logged off denying this pokemon from the rest of the server! The dungeon ideas sound cool but we'll have to wait and see how they roll with it (or not) but I hope we don't all get to keep the legendary pokemons... I wish they would make events with the legendary mons in mind. That would be a good way for "everyone" to catch it and use it...inside an instanced area...and once you leave the instance/dungeon you would release it back into the wild. This would be a way for everyone to interact with their favorite legendary pokemon for a while. So many amazing ideas come to mind... Having 3 friends go into a dungeon and each has to go catch a legendary bird and then all 3 teamup for a triples battle against Lugia or something.... The sky is the limit... As far as PvP.....keep legendaries away from it...because then we have to talk about natures...IV's...breeding...we don't want that hassle, PvP is fine the way it is...it just needs some love in the form of hidden abilities and other issues...but it definetely does not need Legendaries Just my 2 cents
  8. Saying stall is silly because of time wasted is in itself a silly comment. It's like saying control decks in any sort of card game is silly because they waste more time then aggro decks. In any sort of PvP game there are multiple types of strategies...aggressive strategies, balanced strategies, control strategies and then there are the so called "rogue" strategies. These sort of strategies are as diverse as the personalities of the players that use them. Just because you don't like it doesn't make it silly. As for the OP... I agree with you in the part of the reward system and the creation of additional reward systems however complaining about the matchmaking system when multiple people accross the board have stated that we are in a low number state of affairs in PvP is naive at best...if there are fewer people playing overall then the matchmaking system will be forced to do less then ideal matches. What can/should be discussed/proposed is new methods to incentivize PvP participation and ways to reduce entry barriers. Using the "quest" idea I think that Daily/Weekly quests would be a good way of getting people started and interested in PvP. For example: Setup a rotation schedule of PvP Weekly rewards based on Tiers in order to motivate people to play tiers outside their "confort" zone and less played tiers...who knows?! They might like it! January Week 1 OU Weekly Quest - Win 10 OU Ladder Matches of over 6 mins (so people don't just forfeit) January Week 2 UU Weekly Quest - Win 10 UU Ladder Matches of over 6 mins January Week 3 NU Weekly Quest - Win 10 NU Ladder Matches of over 6 mins January Week 4 Dubs Weekly Quest - Win 10 Dubs Ladder Matches of over 6 mins You could scale these... Win 10 Matches get X Win 20 Matches get Y Win 30 Matches get Z This would incentivize people to push further each week depending on their available time/taste for the specific format. This would also make it so that people were getting weekly rewards from PvP instead of just seasonal ones. These rewards should be setup to help people grow in PvP and not "farm" PvP as cash making method. This method could also be used for Daily Quests albeit in a more toned down version and not scaled. These would be fixed Daily Quests with fixed rewards. Bracers/Ability Pills/Vitamins/Everstones/PvP Items...things PvPers need on a regular basis. Make these untradable so as not to inflate/flood the market. This would help newer players get going and reduce the entry barrier. Win 2 OU Matches Win 2 UU Matches Win 2 NU Matches Win 2 Dubs Matches Additional quests/reward system can obviously be thought of...just the first thoughts out of my head...
  9. My suggestion is "simple", is it possible to have a payday counter on each pokemon that can use the ability? Like an XP counter...and if a pokemon uses payday it starts counting the gold the player gets as if counting XP.
  10. 217 Dragonite 252+, *1.5 so this is a 252 Speed + Speed Nature....what about the 1.5?
  11. I started playing pokemmo 3 weeks ago and will be getting into competitive pvp in the future, currently researching left and right and came across this guide, I really appreciate it but may I suggest (for people that are less prone to research) a description with examples of the said type of mons? For example: "A hazard setter is a pokemon that sets up entry hazards for the opposing team so that they are weakened as they switch into the battlefield. A good example of hazard setter is X because bla bla bla, the below pokemons are the most used hazard setters "
