Be very active on team. Find out the type of team you wanna run. Causal Comp Helpful ect. Then give them a good reason on why they should join your team like weekly tourneys. If you are sort of good in battling you can help the ones that are not so good get better and offer them some advice. You can also try explaining what you plan do accomplish on that team like a goal They would want to follow and share. Most importantly is the trust they have in you. You have to earn that.

Btw a good place to get exp would be behind pallet (down) a patch surf down and battle in the patch of grass. Its boring but gets 500 exp per kill and and are also low level.

If you have tms teach it something else. Moves can always be changed

Paydaying won't get you much of anything just use a better poke to beat them. Also if you have a level 69 why not use it? How is it useless. So what you overleveled it just train the others
