  1. Ty so much! Thinking on going for a rare at Petalburg/RT45 or Egging smt tbh Living the dream xD
  2. Thats correct, I play around 8 hrs a day (I know, I need to touch grass). If I were completely focused on shunting I should have more encs, but I watch some shows or YT videos while shunt so is hard to keep the pace xD.
  3. Wow 300k is crazy! I'm further than I thought xD.. I really hope you get your Shiny Charmander soon! What is a dump file? The file from the encounter counter? (sry I'm not too familiar with that). Sorry I wasn't clear, I'm not interested in proving anything to anyone, it's my own goal, that's why I just wanted to know the highest number recorded. If Parke says it's 300k I'm going to trust him, I'm not going to ask him for proof. I don't use encounter counter, you can easily know how many encounters you have if you use leppas: 1 stack at x5 horde = 1000encs 1 stack at x3 horde = 600 encs I understand that this way I am not counting the single encounters, but I have not done so many that it changes my number too much.
  4. Today, after 46 days, I reached 200k encounters with out a shiny (150k of them were made on x3 Horde, and at least 80k+ with Dono+multiple charms). I've already gone through the anger, frustration and resignation, now I'm trying to go for the record. I wonder what the largest known dry streak is?
  5. Great guide!!! you really put a lot of effort in this 🙂 I have 1 question, something like 30hp and 30 sp.def in weezing could work? Or you need the 31s?
  6. Great job! It would be nice to see what Hidden power the unown you catched have, and you can try to complete a "sub quest" of catching 1 unown of each HP (without changing them with gems)
  7. I understand that Arena trap is OP and really annoying, what I understand is why you said this: Why are you using your Volvarona check to kill the espeon? Also Weavile and Hydreigon are just 2 examples of pokemon that are strong against this core.. But are more: Mold Braker Excadril (and is not a gimmick, is the most used ability by far for exca), Gengar destroys Espeon and ghosts don't get trap by Arena Trap, Mandibuzz is also a good pokemon who can do well against Espeon and don't get trap (and slow U-turn helps you to outpivot his switches), Choice Band Scizor with U-turn (if espeon doesn't have HP fire), U-turn Mienshao, Rotow-W with trick is also very good against this core (Dugtrio can't trap or beat it and Shedinja dies to a will o wisp). Choice Scarf Gallade one shots Espeon with Night Slash, and beats Dugtrio 1v1 (even locked in that move cause dugtrio never OHKO with EQ): 252+ Atk Sharpness Gallade Night Slash vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Dugtrio: 96-114 (87.2 - 103.6%) -- 25% chance to OHKO 252 Atk Dugtrio Earthquake vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Gallade: 102-120 (71.3 - 83.9%) -- guaranteed 2HKO Jellicent beats Espeon, don't get trap by Dugtrio and will o wisp kills shedinja. Serene Grace Togekiss can Freeze/para/burn Espeon and flich it to death (dont get trap by dugtrio). And I'm thinking just a few examples, what I mean is that there are tools on the meta to deal with this gimmick, and all the pokemon I listed are not inferior pokemon that you have to carry to take down the core you mention, are true OU pokemon.
  8. Team OG pulling some crazy shinys!
  9. Hydreigon beats Espeon and doesn't get traped by dugtrio. Also does Scizor if Espeon doesn't have HP fire or Dragonite if doesn't have HP ice. Also does Weavile, and beats Dugtrio cause icecycle spear is a multihit move so focus sash is useless. All those are very common picks. That being said, if your team loose to a 1 pokemon if that pokemon gets a "free turn" you probably need to make some adjustments to your team... Saying that a pokemon with a 0.91% pick rate is broken cause have a 55% is nonsense. The 0.91% should tell you something... if I play a game with a pichu and win then pichu will have a 100% win rate, that doesn't mean pichus is broken. Also wonder guard and arena trap are nerfed in pokemmo..
  10. Team OG Team OG Focuses Primarily on Shiny Hunting ✨ Perks 🚀 Shiny Wars (with other teams, or team only) Shiny Bounties Alot of Team Exclusive Shiny Charms Extremely Active community Team PvE events (Catching events primarily) Team Exclusive event guides and more.. 11. If you are broke and really can't wait to play pvp, don't go for 5x31 mons.. just use 3x28 2x31+ nature Also idk what team do you have in mind (and what gengar build are you going for), but Timid > Modest most of the time.
  12. Can we keep talking about Hydreigon? Or just change the title to "How good is Empoleon actually?" 😂 Jokes aside, what are the arguments to keep Draco Meteor on Hydreigon?
  13. The problem here is that in the original games when Hydreigon was introduced (gen 5) he only has Draco Meteor (not nasty plot), so he can not set up. The counters were the same you alrdy mentioned (Chansey-Bliss-Tyranitar-Empoleon). Later when he gain NP (gen 8 ) was not an issue cause Fairy type. In the current meta we haven't the tools to deal with both sets (choice item+DracoM or Nasty Plot), yeah Assault Vest is nice, but not enough.. Is similar to the Garchomp case were let him have Sword Dance AND 120 Outrage is just too much (cause again lack of tools to handle it).
  14. So all you need is rocks up. Got it 😂
  15. Ty so much for all the support! You guys are great 🙂
  16. After I failed a Shiny to a malfunction of my game/PC I quit the game for a few months: I returned for the Halloween event and decided to join the team OG and try to Shiny Hunt again.. Yesterday I got a Shiny growlithe after around 800 encounters, and today (full of confidence) decided to go for Scraggy again... After less than 1k encounters she appeared (I WAS SHAKING), take a deep breath and went for it (she even nailed a double protect against my spore), but after a hard fight I can say THE CURSE IS BROKEN!!!! Never lose hope!
  17. Ty for the answer! I feel a bit silly for the 4 hrs I spend fishing in Johto 😂😅 (at least I got some money thanks to payday/pick up).
  18. Hi, first of all I think you need to understand better what BO means: What is Bulky Offense? Bulky Offense (BO) is a team archetype based around Pokémon that can hit hard along with Pokémon that can provide great utility. BO is not about pure aggression like HO, and is not defensive like Stall, meaning the general strategy with BO is less clearly defined, and is more based around making good use of pivots that can switch into attacks and provide utility in the form of status moves and/or momentum-grabbing moves like Voltswitch or U-Turn, as well as offensive Pokémon that can usually take a resisted hit and fire off powerful attacks in return. Unlike more purely offensive archetypes, BO offers more breathing room thanks to its pivots along with general utility and bulk, meaning it can be quite a reliable choice for an archetype. BO can struggle with more purely offensive teams at times, so it frequently carries Speed control methods to make up for this. As you can see, you don't have a BO team, cause none of your mons (except for Gliscor) has any bulk, or momentum gainer moves (U-Turn/V.Switch). Yours is more like HO team, that is not bad, just not BO. — Sweeper — A Pokémon that can make use of at least decently powerful attacks, frequently with set-up moves that enable it to hit the opponent hard and provide a win condition for the team, though some sweepers do not rely on set-up moves. Gliscor is not a Sweeper, maybe if you put Sword Dance on him.. but I don't see him as the sweeper. — Stallbreaker — A Pokémon that can potentially shut down Stall, either with the use of Taunt or by using set-up moves, usually combined with a way to avoid getting worn down by some common status (typing, Substitute, Heal Bell, Magic Guard, Hydration, etc). Gengar and Garchomp are not Stallbreakers (at least not with those sets). Gengar could be with a set like: Encore-Substitute-Shadow Ball-Hidden Power Fighting. If you want to use Serperior you need Leaf Storm+Contrary. Is what makes him viable. I don't want to give you a team make by me cause not fun in that, this is the link to the reddit post with the entire BO Guide (be aware that is for Sun/Moon so gen 7, but the concepts still applies).
  19. Wow you put a lot of work here! Looks solid 🙂 Just a few questions: 1- Zen Headbutt is to hit Amoongus? Rock Tomb could be good too, recives bonus from Technician and gives great coverage against Flying-Fire-Bug. And lowers the enemy speed by 1 2-Are you sure Golduck beats rain? I don't see him winning a 1v1 against Modest Kingdra. Remember that Cloud Nine only nullifies the effects of the rain while the mon is on the field, so if he is forced to swap or dies the rain continues. 3- What the EVs on Gliscor do? Just curious about this one 🙂
  20. Hello, you have a nice team :), I like the Salac Berry Gengar touch 😉 I'm returning to the game after 3 months of no playing so I'm not up to date with the current META but I think a Garchomp could 1 vs 4 (gengar, magnezone, excadrill, hydreigon), and Breloom-Reuni are not true answers to him. Also a rain team will be really hard to beat. Maybe add an ice move? And some sort of status (really useful for BO).
  21. Ty all for the answers! I think it would be cool if @Patrouski2 could make a Video correcting this missinformation, cause many people (me included) trusted what he said on his video 🙂
