  1. I disagree. Adding on to what @razimove said, most legendaries are underwhelming at best in competitive matters. People can be biased by nostalgia thinking legendaries are something great when in reality most of them were hardly OU.
  2. Yes, you're a lot more mature than that person so credit to you. It's a loud minority who don't like legendaries. These Pokemon are well designed by the people over at GameFreak and are a core aspect to the mainline Pokemon games whether they like it or not. Many people's favourite Pokemon are indeed legendaries and there's a clear reason why this game isn't mainstream (it's not only to do with legendaries but that would be besides the point). Only the sweats, the individuals who sank thousands of hours into the game and have nothing else better to do in their life and treat these games like a 9 to 5 are the ones complaining about legendaries. Then they reside in these forums (not just here but on Reddit too) and come up with insults like "legendaries are for 5 year olds like you" or that "you don't have the IQ enough to play the game normally". They are scared by the fact that new players with legendaries will undermine their efforts in a video game. I really pity these people and I don't take them seriously at all.
  3. Even if someone squads up with a full party of them, it's not a problem at all. Why is it such an issue?
  4. Damn, you're my favourite person on this website. You have such good takes about legendaries. Thank you so much.
  5. Sorry I just don't like your idea. They don't need to disappear from your party. I much rather that they stay with you forever just like in the main games. Like jesus christ, this is a video game, we're supposed to be having fun, not to follow some god forsaken lore about their legendary status and how they're too powerful and what not. Nobody becomes joyful or excited having their legendary pokemon disappear from their party and also, you only have the legendary for 1 hour? That's too short, the PokeMMO devs might as well not add them. Then you can find the legendary again? That's going to worsen how grindy the game already is. There's a reason why this game isn't mainstream. Why no PVP? Oh, because they're overpowered? I for one don't care if I am up against an opponent with many legendaries and I'm sure most people don't care. I hate how so many people in this community are crying like babies about how broken legendaries going to be and yadda yadda yadda. Keep the tiers how they are in the normal games and stop crying about how OP they are in PVP or implement an OU w/o legendaries tier if so many people are UPSET AND CRYING over legendaries being used in PVP.
  6. Oh my god, someone with a brain. Amen to you. God bless you.
  7. I disagree. For the PVP aspect, a simple OU feature without legendaries can be added if people are so damn upset about legendaries being broken in PVP. I for one don't give a crap if my opponent uses a legendary pokemon against me. It's not an automatic loss for me and normal OU has worked just fine with legendaries. Legendaries would make PVE events easier and less time-consuming, not necessarily ruin the game. A level 100 non-legendary Pokemon will work just as well as a level 100 legendary Pokemon when rerunning gyms or farming. Why do you insist on PokeMMO being such a timesink and grind-fest? Just because you have sunk so much time into the game, doesn't mean the system shouldn't be changed to make it easier to grind. A game is supposed to be fun, not a timesink. If PokeMMO wants to expand and become mainstream, it should be less grindy and cater less to players like you. @Metthew's goal isn't only exclusive to him mind you so he isn't so selfish. Please don't be so aggressive and perhaps be more open minded to other people's opinions instead of attacking them. Thank you!
  8. I don't understand why the end credits have been omitted. I would have preferred it if the end credits were left in PokeMMO, especially to credit not only the people who have helped develop each game/region at Nintendo, but also to give credit to the PokeMMO staff members. I understand that many people do skip the end credits, but for those, like myself, who actually feel satisfied after completing the game and seeing the end credits roll in, and who want to recognize the people who helped develop the game, I would have loved it if you had kept the end credits as they were in the original games. There's no reason that I can think of as to why they shouldn't be included. I've heard the argument that after completing a region, 'it's only just the beginning as there are more regions to explore.' I understand that, but then again, I still feel like the end credits should be included as a conclusion for one region. You always have the opportunity to proceed onto another region afterward. I'd love to know your thoughts. I know it's a very minor thing and doesn't have a significant impact on gameplay, but it does slightly improve the player experience to a small extent. Since it's such a minor thing, that's all the more reason to include it. If players don't like watching the end credits, they can always skip them. Example: Sinnoh End Credits
  9. Furthermore, it's super disappointing for us players, having to waste our time and traverse through the Power Plant, climb up Mt Ember etc, to end up not finding any legendaries. It's very disheartening.
  10. Please please implement this feature devs. There's no reason not to and it will improve the player experience. I know a lot of players who have left PokeMMO due to lack of legendaries. If you really want to improve player retention and make your game mainstream, continue to improve the player experience. Encountering Johto legendary beasts is already a good start.
