Pretty sure there isn't a single player with a whole 6x31 team. I think craig got this right. Prople have too high standards. If you're only a couple of hours into the game, it should be a given you won't have access to the top of the line endgame legendary equipment of an mmo. A lot of us have 2000, 4000 hours of grinding behind us, navigating through dofferent breeding systems. Sure, there are a handful of players who joined the game in that awkward mid-2014 period when you could join a team, borrow comps and breed them for free stuff within minutes. But at one point, there weren't any breeders ready. I spent five months breeding kabutos together from 3x15s, slowly upgrading them with that 12.5% gender ratio. Almost regret it because of how easy breeding is now. No matter what the system, a gap between 2000 hours and 100 hours is pretty normal. That said. Yes, it wouldn't hurt to make grinding less boring and unrewarding. I'm targering narrowing IVs, but apparently this was confirmed already. Also you canb perfectly feasibly catch some 3x25 in the wild and that's half the work done. Just rely on rng a little more when combining all-around-decent breeders, rather than planning the perfect comp.

I think the prize is pretty vital to the concept. If you want people to use this system, you wanna give them a reason to climb up to gold tier. They have to be able to show off "Hey guys I am top 10% look at this cool hat" or whatever it is, as long as it can never ever be obtained again

I like it. I think a ranked PVP with bronze / silver / gold tiers is what the game needs. In fact, this could single-handedly solve most of the players' complaints about game being dead. It's endgame content that won't run out like the story does when it's completed in three days. It'll last as long as you keep making seasons. People will fight over this system without end to get those rewards, without any immediate need for updates or even staff-organized officials. This is one of the most important steps to a game that stands on its own feet imo. In fact, the game does not run if we don't have officials. That's our endgame content. If we have this new PvP alongside officials, it might even be a legitimately really fun addictive game. I feel most players stick around just for the chat, their friends, rather than the game. We're blessed with an unusually tight community. But adding this would effectively drive people to play. Top priority #1 imo. Don't even bother with content that runs out after one completion. At least put it off 'til after this.

Things that'd be really really nice to search for when you're hunting a specific pokemon: -Species -Nickname -Held item -OT -Level Also just narrowing groups of pokemon to display a selection of things -Comp tier -Typing -Egg group Get search criteria to stack. And low on the priority list, stuff like nature / moves if you still wanna bother going there

Would be cool to be able to drag something to an empty slot, and have the rest of the party adjust accordingly. In addition, would be cool to be able to insert a party member between two others and have everything adjust, much like files on your desktop.
