You also don't need sprites, fancy moves, anything, a console, with plain text, would be enough for a competitive battle, yet we have what we have.

Although it's not hard, there's no downside to this suggestion, and it would help, not in the sense that is gamechanging, but as a QoL feature, is pretty nice.

If you read the 1st thing I said, you'd know I'm on your side on this, as in it would be a QoL nice feature. I just pointed it out that it's not something you can live without, there is no info hidden from you.

Well for comp players who have been in the scene for quite some time we think ahead in the battle. We don't always keep track since we think of multiple changes and things that will present itself during battle. So saying it's not needed, speak for yourself because I can guarantee you all comp players will appreciate this suggestion.

I might be "new" to pokemmo but I'm not new to competitive pvp. If you don't keep track of these things you're disregarding info that might end up with you not making the best possible play. There isn't information hidden from the player, therefore it is not needed (I don't think this is an outrageous statement as you're picturing it lul). I myself would appreciate it, less work for me.

Still think this is super low priority and if development is to happen in pvp, devs and staff should focus entirely on team preview and the release of hidden abilities, legendaries and remaining evolution lines.

  2. It would be nice but it's nowhere near needed. Not sure why would you go through the battle chat to find out how many turns are left for an effect to end, just count. Counting is a part of the battle experience imo.  If you struggle with muscle memory or don't wanna put any effort into it, grab a piece of paper and a pen or open your notepad and take note of how many turns have passed.

Stat changes are even easier to keep track of.

  3. If you get annoyed by nasty plot toge with heal bell, then you should try running less stall/fat teams because the whole purpose of that set isn't to hax through, is to destroy stall. I feel like most people of this meta think "I'll use 3 to 4 fat mons and I'll do fine" which strengthens this set.

The scarf set is the brainless I'll just hax through set, which works great vs offense and loses power as the opposing team gets fatter because requires more coin flips to ko.

  4. Understandable, I assume the best you can do is letting Kyu about it. Does he know about this ? Unova was implemented more than a year ago, so I shouldn't get my hopes up of the move getting fixed right lul ? Even if it would be in his low priority list, I'd appreciate if it's even in the list.

  5. Upvoted. Downtime involving decision making included in the replays is a killer for those who just wanna watch or analyze how the match unfolds. Setting a fixed downtime, lets say 2 seconds, between turns would be greatly appreciated.

Another way of solving this would be making the replay literally a video, where you can go back and forth at will. Or a "skip to animation" button. These 2 might be too stretched though.
