Let me start by saying that I love the King of the Hill legendary mechanic that pokeMMO has in each of the regions. For those of you who don't know in each of pokeMMOs 5 regions there is 1 legend that can be found and caught that is not included in the rotational legends like the Legendary birds in Kanto or the beasts in Johto. These KOTH legends include Mewtwo in Kanto, Lugia in Johto, Arceus in Sinnoh, Rayquaza in Hoenn, and Keldeo in Unova. Each of these legends can be encountered in specific locations in their respective regions, only one person at a time may have each legend and once it has been caught by a player a system message will go out to the whole region saying who caught it, the channel they are on and where they are at. That player is then forced to accept any challenge requests by other players and they will then have to battle in a 3v3 style battle the winner of which gets to keep the legend and is also rewarded with 1k BP each time they win with the legend. (not the most in-depth but there are plenty of other guides you can look at both in the forums and on Youtube) The idea that you have to fight other players for the opportunity to own a legend has always been a cool concept, and I'm also fine with the players who use this mechanic to farm BP by fighting each other and just trading it back and forth which is understandable and something that pretty common. However, as someone who has been trying to fill out the dex completely (catching all the available mons as well as encountering all the legends that NPCs have) doing the KOTH has been the most painful part, not because of the mechanics but because of the players who will swarm the legend when one is caught, take it for themselves, and then just sit in the upstairs of a PC trading it between each other to farm BP within their little group and if anyone tries to take the legend they will just transfer to a new PC in a different city and continue. Again I don't actually mind this action the thing that I dislike is just how rude they are to others when they try to join in or even when someone tries to be civil about it by asking if they can just get it for dex when there is a chance, many times I have been told and seen others being told to "shut up" or that they are doing annoying all for asking and trying to talk with the people who are doing the BP farming. This isn't everyone and I have encountered a few players who have been very kind about getting people the dex entry or even including them in the BP farm until they max out but I am constantly seeing the same people just being rude to others when they get in the way of their farming. I'll mainly see members of team RAY doing this as well with a few others from other Spanish and Chinese-speaking teams that I can't remember the tag for atm. I am the kind of person who believes that you should treat others in the way you want to be treated and I've tried many times to be kind and understanding towards these players but I give up, I've tried waiting my turn or waiting until you're done just for you guys to leave and despawn the legend so if I have to be rude and annoying then that's what I'm going to be.
It's king of the hill brother. Ain't no one going to hand you that throne. You gotta take it with force.

But you know what? The chinese named 19374892 also has that amount and he played for 1 month, he for sure grinded so much on that month that he accomplished the same feet that I did and many other veterans right? It totally doesnt scream p2w right?
Like I said anyone can turn a blind eye to it and play the game, but it is there and is effectively an issue, the game itself is 100% p2w, you can start today and have full boxes ready for comp in any tier or format by buying RP, you can get anything aside from event account bound vanities with RP.
Hmm I get what you mean my brother. One of my close friends had this to say on the matter which is how I see it as well.
"It really depends on how you define "P2W", it means something different to everyone.
It's not strictly "pay to win" since nothing impactful is paywalled, and everything you could want to help you "win" is reasonably obtainable in-game.
It's what I would call "pay to fast" though since you can skip a lot of grinding. Credit card goes brrrr, comps and shinies fall out. Doesn't mean you'll be instantly good at using them, but it's a shortcut.
To some people, that is a form of P2W, and I see that perspective. It's in a pretty inoffensive form compared to a lot of other games that would sell you top tier equipment or chances at pulling top tier characters though."
This to me made a lot of sense because initially donating doesn't give you the same advantage of gacha games where you kinda have to donate to stay ahead of the game. Even if these players get their boxes of comps on day 1... you can't buy experience my brother. They will still have to go through the learning phase and do 100's of battles before even standing a chance of winning tournaments or competing with high end veterans. All in all the game has to make some money to keep it going and tbf this is one of the best ways they could have done it.
Edit: I'll add to this. High end PVP is very difficult. It's not for everyone. Either you have it or you don't. It takes years to get to that certain level unless you're a fast learner / genius.

It doesnt really add up in the long run, anything adds up in the long run but you are getting the crumbs while they have the whole cake in their hands. Its pure copium to say ahah but then I can invest when I want, sure you can, go for it champ, they also invest their wallet and instead of waiting years, they get what they want on that second. Its an option sure, but the game is purely p2w from the moment that they introduced a legal way of you to trade real life currency into ingame currency and denying that is just turning a blind eye to it. Can you play the game to some extent without ever spending a cent? You can, can you expect to even get close to owning some of the rare items if you start today? Not really, if you only make 150mil during an event and you have 3 to 5 events per year, is that really of value? What if you start today? Unlucky
Also, you mentioned the event, and inbetween the event, how much yen are you making daily assuming you dont make pokemmo a second job? Maybe 500k for someone that doesnt market flip? Maybe less than that
Also lets ignore the part where you mention 4 devices when for some even having one that actually runs the game is a luxury.
You can make a few mil a day grinding it out, doing berries and flipping gtl. Buy vanities that fluctuate and decrease within days apart. I've made a few million every few days just buying the cheapest shadow bone club and selling it for a mil or higher each time because of it's value being so volatile... In my case I make a lot of money on 2012's and 2013's believe it or not. A very cliche market but there are always buyers looking for obscure mons or something out of the ordinary. 5x IV met mons are also good to buy. You'll find players wanting these and paying a few mil for them. Dusk balls and the ones from LNY event had a chance of giving lvl 100's right. A lot of these 100's were spawned with good iv's and natures which I also picked up on gtl and made quite some good profit from them. I legit got a 5x31 modest milotic in a few 100 of those balls and got offers on it of a few mil cuz it's basically a perfect comp lol. In my case though I don't grind anymore. This year for me personally was the most lucrative because of the preparations I have made in advance to make the most out of the halloween event. I farmed making millions and of course I bought multiple vanities. I took a knock on those because they're at the lowest value now but 2-3 years I'll make a decent profit from them if they rise hence the risk. Every yen you spend comes with a risk depending on what you buy or invest in. After years of experience this becomes easy for veterans because they have the insight and knowledge on what to buy and what not to buy. Analyzing the market always gives a huge advantage. I'll put this out here.. the fastest and best way to get rich is to have trustworthy friends and do spin trading. This involves making huge investments with assets between a few players. (This is only helpful if you do not have the sufficient assets to make the investments yourself.) Once the assets are sold off everyone gets back their investment and a return cut of the profits depending on how much they were able to provide to the initial investment. I learned this from the chinese community and I made several billion doing this. Basically investing together in an asset where everyone holds a share. It's not an easy task as it requires clear communication but once you get a solid team to do this and understand it you'll never have to grind again. Players who do this will know what I am talking about.

Did you know that this entire game is p2w and you are actually just slaving yourself away doing gym runs etc for little reward? Some chinese just slaps his credit card on the screen and boom he's a billionaire. This is such a poor way of seeing it, and you dont need darkrai for any content so its pointless to buy mystic watches anyway.
That little rewards adds up in the long run and gives one the opportunity to make investments which could potentially lead to becoming a billionaire if you play your cards right. I would not say this game is p2w. The amount of $ you'd have to spend on the gift shop to become a billionaire is insane. Take an example.. you would have had to purchase 240 skulls. Sell them during event for 5mil it would have generated you over 1 billion but the time to sell 240 of them? Even if you buy 500 (1000 rp vouchers) and sell them for 2.3mil + you'd still take time to get to 1 bil. Not to mention the $ spent would reach close to 5000$ to achieve this which is just stupid. You see some pve players with a decent amount of "brain cells" make their billions taking advantage of events. An example would be this. The darkrai lvl 100 raid would give you 10 dream essence + 3 XL candies per character win. That's roughly 340k on average just for a 6min raid. Now let's say you have 12 characters. That means you can do the raid on 4 different devices 3 times every 6 hours. Which will give you minimum 4 mil every 6 hours. 3 times a day will be 12 mil and less than 2 hours to do it. Combine that with 12 - 14 days you would have made over 150million for playing less than 2 hours a day. If you put in the effort you can generate millions very fast in this game.

He simply asked if there was going to be shiny rate buff like last year. And afaik shiny hunters is on par if not > than the pvp community right now. Seriously.. how many people took part in that shiny event. Thousands. If you're a shiny hunter this is absolutely something you would want so he just might be speaking for the "majority".
Edit: As far as pve goes we might get something special this end year. I have a feeling we'll get the elf dungeons back and then of course more raid content.

Hello, I wanted to ask the PokeMMO administration to consider changing some of the items that can be obtained in the Pumpkin King gift bags, since they are "shit", no offense. The bags have an approximate price of 40k, and maximum 2 of the items that come out can cover that price, these are the candle and the shadow cloak, the latter is ultra rare and you can open up to more than 100 bags and I still can't get it . By this I mean at least add worthwhile items, be it good MT, not the cairns that come out, and also add PvP items, be it Remnants, evolutionary ore, etc.
My criticism is not aimed at defaming or offending the work done by the administrators, but rather I would like them to make the game a little more fun.
I think in future what they can do is have raids (Similar to Darkrai) drop different bags. 6 hour cooldown to prevent too many of them. Raids where you have to have absolute coordination and 1 mistake can cost you the win. These bags can contain an alternative ultra rare as well and given the cooldown it would create a major investment opportunity as bags would not be nearly as plentiful and truly limited. Bags that have high value content. Unfortunately this will not benefit the majority of the community as you have to have prepared mons and teams to do these kind of raids. Basically ambitious and adamant player content. The current bags for halloween are still a decent investment. Just farm like 1000 of them and you'll make profit. The reason for this is that the shadow cape is a desired vanity. It looks good /\. Therefore they'll rise but don't expect it to be a short term investment.

Just buy both. I spent a ton on them and even the shadow capes. Regardless of supply and demand... it's a very sought after vanity. This is the equivalent of shadow bone club. It won't rise in a year. Maybe not in 2 years. But bet your ass you'll be seeing stonks after 3 years. 50 each now at 5.3 mil. 3 years down the drain you sitting with a potential 20-30 mil vanity. That's a possible 500% increase. You're also looking at other whales who will market horde them in order to manipulate price. This game is all about yen flow. You gotta take the risks if you want to make it BIG.

I tried and the recovery tool just tells me "ERROR - That player can no longer be recovered." .....
What should I do?
Edit: Screenshot of the error, also my main characters name which I tried to recover was 'Snowyh' if you can check what's up with it. The 2 others wasn't that important to me if I remember correctly
If your character was deleted it's due to it not having met certain conditions. There was a server wipe between 2016 and 2018. I do not have the correct dates but should be around this time.
Certain conditions (I believe) included:
Whether your character had a certain amount of badges or completed a region.
Whether you had a shiny in your account.
Whether you had a certain amount of yen.
A certain amount of time that had passed of inactiveness.
If none of the required conditions were metthe characters were deleted.
I'm aware you state that you had shinies and stuff so if this is true I don't see how your account got deleted. Maybe your main account was registered on another email.

First off, raids. As challenging and frustrating as they have been, its some of the most fun ive had playing this game over the past year or so. I Think raids are fine as, requiring you to que up with friends, communicate, and come up with different stratergies to overcome said challenge and I look foward to it more.
Second, vanities I Think we can all agree that overall the vanities are a W this year. The demon skulls are cool, flaming blue bike is cool, spooky beanie seems to be a fan favorite, kitsune mask is nice looking, and of course Shadow cape is 20x better then last years ultra rare. So good job on that devs
Third, Mysterious Dusk balls. Im not gonna complain about too much of these. ive gambled some, im stocking up on some just like everyone else. But realistically, how many variations of mysterious balls are we gonna get in the future? Mysterious poke/great/ultra are good enough. All the same pokemon with multiple rares and just different increased odds. Mysterious premiers being a guaranteed alpha. Cherish balls got a decent egg group that felt worth opening for. As stated before, I opened a fair share of dusk balls already too but it doesnt feel fully worth it. Its a bunch of x5 horde pokemon with only one rare. And the price point to open 6k duskballs at its lowest price vs doing 30k encounters with leppas is so much higher that i would rather hunt the pokemon in hordes.
Currently as i type this dusk balls are 39k. So that 234 MILLION for 6k duskballs vs leppas at 76k a stack which is 22 MILLION. And i get that you guys dont want people just spamming mysterious balls for shinies but the price difference is beyond wild.
With all that being said, this event has been enjoyable and has been a massive W... until you punch us in the face and tell us to go fuck ourselves by giving us a darkrai we only get to summon for an hour. Its not usable in PvP which is understandable, but why do we not have full PvE access to it. I can understand wanting to limit the IV setting item so there is a market for it. Elemental orbs have held their value simply because of zapdos but eventually they will tank, maybe not like rainbow quills, but they will tank. So I can fully understand trying to limit the IVs and that I dont mind as much. But with that being said, building up almost half a box of PvE/Raid pokemon, ive wasted so much money on it for nothing. Vitamins, exp candies, heart scales, tms, all of it, to get punched in the face.
Please, Going foward do not do legendaries like this. I Think having the summon feature and certain items to summon its cool, but please get away from this method. Also, please consider not making them a gift pokemon so they can be shiny. I was looking foward to atleast having a chance at getting a shiny darkrai even though it prob wouldnt havent happened, but just that chance had me more then excited
Besides wasting my time for a Darkrai im never gonna use at this point, its been a fun event.
"The more you summon Darkrai, the longer it'll stay and the shorter it's cooldown time will become. Confirmed by Dev.

At this point in time it is better to do raids with teammates or just do them yourselves when it comes to 4 star and higher raids. Trying to do these raids with randoms is a waste of time. They need clear strategic coordination and certain mons. You can't be having 3 players run the show and then have Mr Pickles not knowing if he is coming or going. This is what I have realized very fast. 1 player breaks you. What's the odds of finding 3 well suited veteran players who know what they're doing during these raids? Absolutely Nothing. Mr Pickles always going to be there compromising the raid unfortunately. They need to implement PG over these raids lol.

I like a challenge bro. I can then figure out means to fcking crush it. This is what I was preparing for. I see a lot of people complaining about scolipede. Now is my moment.

I didn't try to do the other raids yet. I did the galvantula and that was very easy. So I decided to go back farming pumpking because the bags are just great and farming it for these few days means I probably won't have to do gym runs for the entirety of next year. Now that you mention the other raids are hard... honestly bro It's making me excited and I'm going to try them now lol.

Idk why you are making such a big deal of it. Literally just contact a GM. Explain to him that you wanna leave the game and with that leave all your assets to your friend and if the GM gives you the green flag then everything is fine. Staff are not out to ban players. Unfortunately players do that themselves by not following the rules.
Edit. If you have had this friend for a long time like a few years or even months by all means. If you met him a week ago then I'd suggest you reconsider.

Staff Don't just ban players and if they do it means they most likely have sufficient evidence to support it. Sure mistakes have happened in the past but it is VERY rare and they do uplift the ban if found that the player was not in the wrong.
