Dude you obviously dont know how markets work, first. The trade hub is new. That means everything is in a deep flux. Second. there is an on going event, that will couse all the items you can gain from that will drop like crazy. The prices for these items will go back to the normal after awhile. Its basic 101.

only people that whould dislike this whould be those people who always sold items/pokes for overpriced. Personally think this is the next best thing to happen to this game since hoenn.

Is it possible to encounter a shiny horde and catch them etc? That whould be kinda funny to watch lol

You've got a point. However i believe it whould stable itself out with some time tho, and you'll still be at the same profit treshhold as you where before pre-patch. It might even increase depending, couse more people whould use it. And about what happens if you're inactive it will prob be mailed to you all the items/pokes you had in the Trade Hub. Whould make the most sense, unless they've got a special "hold" item system in the Trade Hub itself.

Maybe not at first, but it will come to a point when it will drop. Since using the Trade hub itself is an easier way to trade, not having to sit and spam "trade" as you did before 24/7. And only time you'll encounter less "profit" whould be at the start of the change aka the patch. When the system is completely new and market itself is in flux. But that's the diffrence between a good player and a bad is to knowing when and how to play the market. Also wanna add that the tax itself will help against anyone who are trying to flux the market, making it harder to undercut people without any losses. Like i said before, its there for a reason.

Thing is, you're assuming the current values and prices are gonna be where they're at. Well the whole reason for this trading hub for most part is to cut the prices down. So overall what you just said will not matter. And you'll still make a "profit" either way, since the overall value of items and pokes will drop. Only "profit-loss" is for those who have the highest valued shinys ingame at the moment. Either way, there is always shortcuts around this trade hub, selling them as you did before anyways. So i dont see the iccue here to be honest.

Seems like you guys haven't played other games with a real trading hub before huh. Having a taxi fee is common sense. You can argue that its bad for high valued shiny per say etc, but only a less then 1% of the player base have a slim chance to buy those at the moment the way the system is. Not sure about you but that is not to good, having a single person holding the whole game economy. This change will over time cut down the super high prices down to the normal numbers so others have a chance to atleast take part of it. 5% is like the most common number in taxes in most games. For good reasons aswell. If you want a healthy and good economy this is needed. Nothing more to it. Edit: also this will help any flux in the market, lowering most items aswell. Will help overall for future content.

Thought about that aswell @kuziox but it didn't seem to happen atleast for me before the last update to the game, not once. And i've not changed playstyle at all since then. However, i've encountered the problem even tho you dont press anything twice, like you fish once and then after the battle another pop-up occurs and boom you're stuck :rolleyes: Might be a mix of server instability and multi-clicking that couses the battle encounter to glitch or something :ph34r:
