Alright, we have selected the managers. A big thank you to gbwead and Draekyn for their help in making the list. @pablobacas @queest @Azphiel The first 3 managers we believe were an absolute no brainers. They really have everything required to be a great manager and we unanimously agreed to put them in right away. @Quinn010 Quinn has competitive knowledge and knows the community well but what I believe hikes him up in our list is his personality which I think will add something to this PSL season. Quinn had been going in and out of our list until we realised he had not managed before and that was enough to put him in the no brainer list. @Shadow It took a while to decide with this one but suddenly we all just agreed we should give him a shot. He's one of the few staff members embedded into the comp scene. Like Quinn, he knows the community well and is fairly well liked. Knowing multiple languages is really ideal when we were trying to diversify our list. @DoctorPBC I believe he's the only one on this list that has managed before and boy does that help him. His time as a manager was one of my favourite selections of managers and he is a big reason for that. He does stuff that's outrageous but don't let that make you believe he doesn't know what he's doing, if you give him a hand, he'll take your whole arm. We need a hype man, you are it. @Latiosrol We needed some managers to bolster the representation of LatAm and there were plenty to pick from, some really good names but we decided to give a chance to someone who hasn't managed before. He's really likable and I'm sure people would love to play for him. I'm interested to see what he can do! @Cristi Another manager to represent LatAm. Cristi gave a good application and is a common sight in the competitive scene but what ultimately decided it was how many people mentioned him being a good dude who would do well as a manager. :flex: I'm sorry if you weren't selected. There were a lot of great choices who would definitely do a good job but ultimately, we can't fit everyone in and we tried to be diverse while giving new managers a chance to prove themselves. Our reserve managers: Cali, Kanzo, Zhiko, Asmouduessa Should one not claim the spot, drop out or get removed, we will select a reserve based on who left.

Welcome to the PSL XV Player Registration thread. If you wish to participate as a player in the upcoming PSL Season, please fill-up the following form: IGN indicates what your in-game name is. This is the name you use to play your battles. Please message me if you use a name change. Time Zone is the Time Zone for which you live. Please only use UTC, this will make it easier for everyone. Tiers indicates the tiers (OU, UU, NU, Doubles, LC and DPP) in which you would like to play this season. You can still play tiers that are not your preferred, even if you did not add them to your registration. It's simply to give the managers an idea of your comfortability in the tiers. Fluff is where you put any information you want in order to better your chances of getting picked in the auction. NOTICE: Singing up on an alt will lead to an immediate removal from PSL. The manager will also be investigated. DPP players will require their IGN to have 100 hours playtime. Do not try to give someone else's account, I will know. Breaking this rule will also be an immediate removal from PSL. The manager will also be investigated. PSL General Thread Welcome to the 15th edition PSL Manager Registration thread. As a key figure of PSL, managers will have the following responsibilities: The manager shall pick a name for his/her team. The manager shall be present during the Auction (probably the late December-early January), or appoint someone to take his/her stead. The manager shall send the host weekly rosters. The manager shall ensure to his/her best capabilities that every match will be completed in time. The manager shall inform the host as to why a match failed to be completed in the event that one fails. The managers shall inform the host of any substitutes that should be made. The manager shall ensure their team abides by the rules. Managers can also play this season. As long as they purchase the right to do so at auction for 13 credits. If you wish to be considered as a manager please post in this thread using the following format: How do we decide? Your motivation How you are able to motivate others Activity Competitive knowledge Personality That's quite a rough idea but if we believe you will do the best you can for your team and make this a fun season then you would be in for a chance. Who decides? Draekyn and I will have the final say. It is likely we will also use previous hosts for their opinions. Don't think you need to be a extremely well known player to be picked, we will do our research on each application. Deadline: 11th December If you don’t take your sign up seriously, neither will we.

There will be no formula for selecting managers. I do not want a robotic approach to it because the 'best' players by official wins doesn't necessarily mean they will be good managers. We will look at how motivated they are, how much we believe they could motivate their team, how active they are and even their personality among other things.
