I agree. It's hard to find actual trades anymore, all just lotteries...

No headache. Level cap is more than generous. I'm running through Hoenn with level 20s right from the start. Easy. Anything else than that would ruin the play through for the next regious.

I think I stopped playing before hoenn was even introduced to the game. So I go to slateport to play through there? Sorry for all the confusion lol. I just went into a gym and could rebattle the trainers there, so I was confused with my gray badges. (Edit. I have HG and Emerald in /roms/)

Don't we start in pallet town?? The badges in my trainer card, being grayed out, means I don't have them yet, correct?

So I haven't played in a while. but I logged in today and I don't have any badges on my character? It's kind of cool that I have the opportunity to do it again, but I wasn't expecting to be at square 1 when I logged in with 55 hours played.

IPB is actually a pretty nifty forum software. Better than vBulletin, which is the second most popular.

Because it CAN'T BE DONE ON IPB, the software this forum is run on. It would need all members to be part of some moderation group, which won't happen. (Hours and hours of work just transferring members to different groups, not to mention there's no way to make new members part of a moderation group already, so you would have to add them there manually after they make their account.) Just report the OP, and ask for it to be closed. The amount of work to implement this idea isn't worth it.

IPB, the software this forum is run on, would require all users to be part of a "moderation" group to be able to have any control over the forum, or certain aspects of it. It sounds like too much of a hassle, when someone can just "report" the OP, and ask for it to be locked.

In what context? I try to help german members out, like in this thread, but I don't really see a point in typing things out in two different languages, for all extensive purposes. :P

So, seeing as I haven't posted here yet, figured I'd give it a shot. My name is Gaara, and I've been using that screen name for like 4 years now, on most forums I sign up on. IGN: Xorgone My IRL name is Patrick, you can call me pat, patty, rick, or delta dragon infinity. Either or. ;) I speak german fluently, and english. I speak some arabic too, but just the basics. Nice to meet ya' guys.

I also kind of like the idea. It would make the game less..monotonous, with the same sprite running around everywhere all the time.

I know on WoW, and other MMOs, it displays the patch notes WHILE the game is being patched. Maybe something along those lines?

I think that, whenever someone logs in, there should be a screen which pops up with the latest patch notes. (Nothing fancy, can be directly Copy/pasted from the Announcements thread) so people stop asking. Yea, we give out mutes now, but people always seem to ask. just a suggestion.
